Great Airport Hotel

Nice newly refreshed Westin near Vancouver Airport. Shuttle service available. Friendly and helpful staff. Free doughnuts in lobby in the am. Good restaurant on site. Our room was fresh and bright. Not many other restaurants nearby. Great choice for an airport layover or early flight.
Very special place

First time business guest at the Westin Wall and I’m hooked ! Excellent service level, friendly and efficient shuttle van to the airport and well appointed rooms ! WiFi was a respectable speed and the amenities and nicely decorated rooms and plush linens were a really special experience. As a business traveler I had been using another hotel at the Vancouver airport a FAIR amount but I no longer wish to put up with their wildly inflated price levels when I can have it all at the Westin Wall ! Many thanks for making my first stay at the Westin one to remember. I will be back again soon !
Avoid this hotel: unauthorized charges in your credit card

They got the credit card code for warrant, but when You go, they charge unauthorized amounts. They told me there were no charges in credit card, as everything got paid, but not true. Besides that there is no contact E-mail in the website, so You only can call them or social media
Relaxing!

So many thanks to Johns’s for remembering us and being so very patient with our check in. Also at the bar Taha and Erhnham were so gracious and helpful with our wine and food selections. Coming back in a week and looking forward to seeing them again. Dr Thecla Schiphorst platinum elite for life and Malcom Stewart
For a “plugged-in” business traveler, this is not the place.

I’m writing this review for business travelers who may be like me. If you are the kind of business traveler who, like me, spends all day in meetings/on site and comes back to your hotel, hoping to finally catch up on emails, upload those photos/files you promised to various clients, Grab some food, a drink, and at least have a little bit of productivity at the end of your day….this is not the hotel for you. The Wi-Fi here is frustratingly slow…like Y2K-era-AOL-dial-up-slow. It didn’t seem to follow the Marriott Standard either. It took 4 minutes to load GMAIL.com for God sake. My cell phone reception in this area was barely 1 bar too so joining my own hotspot, was not even an option. I thankfully, I flew out from YVR the next afternoon so I ended up checking out early just to get airport where, surprisingly, the Wi-Fi was 10 times better than what they had at this hotel. Not even kidding. I have more trips to Vancouver for work in the future and I won’t be staying here. I just wanted to pass this message along to other business travelers who may be like me.
