    Me and my 22 daugther were in Cuba en july, in La Habana stayed at Riviera Iberostar, a beautiful place, full of the luxurios details of the 60s, with a magnificent view of the Malecon de La Habana, great breakfast and the staff very proffesional. Thanks to Ivis, Ariel, the bell boys, and front desk staff.

    The Havana Riviera hotel is the perfect option for anyone trying to get to know the city. The location is ideal for tourists and has the most beautiful view of the ocean. The service is incredible and the rooms are spacious with great beds and the air conditioning is always at a perfect temperature. There is always transportation available and, Ivis, the lady in charge of public relations is a joy and constant help. She is always at your service and knows all the best places in Cuba to recommend for those who might not have an idea of what to do. (shows, night life, salons etc.).

    Thank you for the service, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The breakfast was great and the rooms very beautifull. We had a nice violist at the breakfast. The view on the sea was also nice to have!

    The Staff made my stay extremely enjoyable. From booking tours and recommending tourist attractions,to ensuring I had a great time, Ives and her team delivered exceptional, personal high quality service.

    I have stayed at the Riviera since the mid-1990s. It is home to a tremendous amount of history and now, after years of neglect by prior management, Iberostar is making moves to restore some of that lost grandeur. Is the hotel perfect? Of course not, it’s Cuba, nothing is. The property is dated, the lobby, elevators, and halls are not air-conditioned, or it’s very futile. Elevators are old and rickety (from 1958), only two of the three work–but they are fast. Prior management took a beautiful bar on the top (20th) floor and turned it into a meeting room. Breakfast is ok. While the glory days of the hotel may have faded, there is much to recommend it. The Riviera’s Lobby Bar boasts the most spectacular view of the Malecon of any Havana hotel–it is stunning. (The bar, currently closed, is scheduled to reopen in a few months after a major upgrade.) The beautiful and very large swimming pool and diving platforms are undergoing a period of renovation, but are already showing improvements. The rooms are functional, clean, sport updated bedding, and killer views. However, what’s best are the people. The Riviera never fails to make me feel welcome, appreciated, and comfortable, from Wendy at the Riviera’s Casa Del Tobaco to Francisco, maître d’ of L’Aiglon Restaurant. Praises to Ivis, the Riviera’s PR director. She always recognizes me when I walk in the door and goes out of her way to make certain I am well attended to, as I’m certain she does for every guest she meets. I will return
