Receipts

Need a receipt for your plane ticket or a purchase you made for food, internet or an upgrade onboard a WestJet flight? We have online tools to help.

Inflight receipts

If you made a purchase on board and would like to obtain a copy of your receipt, we can help you with that.

Receipts will be available within three to 10 business days following your flight.

Tips for retrieving your online receipt

  • Cardholder name: Provide your first or last name but don’t use any spaces or special characters such as hyphens. For example, "Jackie Miller-Dawson" can be entered as "Jackie" or "Miller" or, "Dawson."
  • Departure city: Broaden your search with the airport code, city name or select from a drop down list of locations.
  • Expand your flight date range to at least one week prior to your departure and one week after your arrival.
  • If you made a purchase using a pre-paid credit card, you can enter a portion of the name on the card. For example, A Gift for You can be entered as “Gift.”

Duty free

For onboard duty free purchases, a receipt was provided at the time of purchase. If you are unable to locate your receipt and require a new one, please contact DFASS® Canada Company at 877-553-3277 or email customercare@dfassgroup.com.

Note: Receipts cannot currently be issued for bookings made through non-westjet.com sites, WestJet Vacations bookings or ancillary options (e.g. seat upgrade, baggage, etc.) Unfortunately, we are unable to create any new receipts or other documents after this time, even if requested for tax purposes or legal proceedings.
