Stayed during Covid in Jan. Low occupancy, but hotel managed it well. On a peninsular with 2 beaches, one facing the sea and one into a protected bay. Choose the sea facing and you'll be away from kids, activities etc. Excellent facilties on site, tennis, picleball, gym, waterspouts. A set menu which varied each night, and food and service very good. Choice of several different classes of rooms. Choose Royal Suite if you want more adults only experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone, particularly those looking for an active on=property holiday

Our friends have been going for 23 years so we decided to give it a try! This place is paradise! On one side a windy beach! On the other a calm bay with kayaks and hobi cats! We did the all inclusive! Definitely worth the money! Sadino was our server most meals! Our favorite was a private 6 hour boat tour on the Calypso Cat! Where we visited multiple bays and beaches. We snorkeled, saw turtles, and starfish! Captain Ernie, Linel, Jump, and crew were amazing! My husband went diving with the dive master twice! We took advantage of the specials at the spa. Seneda was amazing at deep tissue massage! Calvin and Oz would shuttle us in golf carts to our villa. Yes it was different due to COVID and some of the restaurants were closed and an extra fee was added. However we felt very fortunate they were open and we could enjoy their Alice of paradise! They were very strict on masks, hand sanitizer, and all food was served.

    Disappointing.....

I understand the COVID-19 situation...but for an upscale resort....they did very little to try to make you feel like you were in an upscale resort...I feel we paid full price for a mediocre resort...the area is beautiful and people were pretty nice... but the amenities and food was very limited...on French night...a bacon cheeseburger was on the menu?????? Just not what we paid for....very disappointed

Having stayed here once 10 years ago I was delighted to return in January with a pleasant suprise. The resort has definitely improved, particularly with food. Excellent range of choices e.g vegetarian/vegan ..... delicious food and always friendly staff serving you. I particularly liked the new addition of a coffee shop serving amazing coffee, iced drinks and beautiful cakes. There is a wide range of activities, my favourites including paddle boarding, wind sailing and kayaking which is all free of charge! The rooms are slightly dated however this is made up by the spectacular view from your window, wherever it is on the island. I would like to praise every member of staff for making such an effort during these troubling and difficult times, I was always greeted with a smile and friendliness. In particular Brianna, looked after us every evening, was super friendly and always remembered our drinks order which was such a special touch. Special mention to Neko from the water sports shack, made my stay extra special for me. These people are a real asset to your resort.

    Paradise resort during Covid.

We had an amazing relaxing time at the St. James Villa's (timeshare exchange). The property, amenities and staff was all wonderful. We did not do the all inclusive since the villas come with a kitchen and large balconies with bbq. Recommend you rent a car since English Harbor is just a 10 minute drive. The establishment follows strict Covid protocol and we felt very safe there. Highly recommend.
