Went for a mother daughter trip with my mom. The hotel was fantastic-- so many pools and the beach was so close, with warm and swimmable waves. The staff is amazing at the hotel. It's a great location-- we got by without a rental car and you can even rent a car on site if needed (which we did for a day). My only tip is to just take a lyft from the aiport to save you money. We booked a car through the hotel and with tip it was 90$! (75 and then tip). I definitely plan to return to this hotel. It appeared to be the best in the Wailea area that we walked by.

The most luxurious hotel in Wailea. Ignore the bad reviews. Stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The pictures don’t do the place justice, I am convinced this hotel is one of the most visually stunning/modern beach hotels in the world. The staff is extremely personable and friendly(Shout-out to Patrick at check-in) and while prices are expensive (similar to other Wailea resorts) – the Andaz does a great job in supplying complimentary treats which go a long way (Mochi, Morning Coffee, Cookies/Chips/Soda in room). One of the main cons of this hotel is the room layout- I personally liked the unique design and had no issues. I visited a few other Wailea hotels during my stay and would heavily recommend the Andaz over them, including the Four Seasons. The Four Seasons was drab and looked past its prime compared to the relatively new Andaz. As for the other resorts, the Marriott and Grand Wailea seemed like glorified Disney resorts – pay the extra for the Andaz.

The hotel is amazing. The view walking in was breath taking. It was hands down, the best welcoming experience we've ever received, even better than our honeymoon from other hotels. The room was very clean and they provide a nespresso machine in the room. Their restaurant buffet provided a variety of delicious food and fruit juice bar. I would love to bring my family back here again and stay longer.

Maui Hyatt Andaz is not worth it!

The Hyatt Andaz at Wailea is far from the quality I expected from a Hyatt. I convinced my friend that we should give it a try instead of our usual stay at the Four Seasons. We are both loyal Hyatt customers, so it seemed like a safe bet. However, that was far from the case. Nothing was quite right from the check-in process where you are seated in the hot sun to await someone to check you in, to the very poor valet service (no self parking allowed), to the no-options $50/person breakfast buffet. They even LOST my rental car one day. The valet's tried to blame me, saying I had changed the name, changed cars, and even claiming that my husband requested it be returned to the rental agency. None of this happened. In fact my husband was 3000 miles away and had nothing to do with it. The unprofessional behavior was shocking and insulting. I finally insisted that a manager be summoned. He was more helpful and didn't try to make excuses, but the wasted time and emotional stress was already done. Imagine having to worry about being liable for a lost rental car! It was eventually found, unlocked with the keys still in the car. The manager did hunt us down to tell us, but this traumatic experience tainted the rest of the trip. Overall, I was sorry that I suggested this property. It wasn't worth it and we won't return.

We had a great stay at the Andaz resort. The staff was amazing and resort was beautiful. Guest room was great. We had the breakfast buffet and I’m still dreaming about it. Jennifer was our server and she was fabulous. We also had a meal by the pool, again had a super friendly wonderful server Olivia many thanks to her, she made our trip extra special. The food at all spots was amazing. Can’t wait to go back. We will recommend the resort to friends and family.
