Very nice location, view, accommodations. Nice patio to sit and eat breakfast on in the mornings. Plenty of tennis courts, beach nearby (a couple minute walk. Location close to ocean and plenty of eateries.

We just returned from a two week stay at Maui Vista. Building C Unit 3421 that we rented through Mauicondo.com. The photos online were nothing like the condo itself. The view was nonexistent. There was no indication that we were in the C building at the back. The condo was very dirty. The carpet in the bedroom on the main floor was filthy. The inside of the dishwasher was so dirty we did our dishes by hand. There were no garbage bags and one roll of paper towels. The air conditioner on the deck is held up by an old rubber bin. It wasn't functioning very well because it didn't cool the upper bedroom. The furniture was old and unclean. When you would sit on the sofa, you would sink very low. Mauicondo assured me there were beach chairs. What a joke. Two were rusted and broken and two were old camping chairs. The sheets were polyester. The water was turned off one day without any notice. We did book late (November), for January but still this was a terrible value at $4,500 for two weeks. Do not ever book through Mauicondo. The building itself is old but well kept, as are the grounds. The woman who runs the front desk needs a crash course in customer service.

We’ve stayed at Maui Vista a lot and always have had nice condos in the past. BUT this time we are in #1212 and it is the pits! Poorly appointed, stuff broken or not working, very noisy... This is an OK facility but not this unit.

We booked a stay at this place through booking.com, but we didn't actually get to stay there. 2 days before we were supposed to arrive, I got an email saying that they weren't able to run our credit card and that I needed to re-enter the information, so I did. 1 day before we were to arrive I got a text message saying that they had to cancel our reservation, because the unit had water damage. So the problem wasn't with our credit card, the problem was with the condo. That should have been communicated before I got an email about a problem with our reservation, instead of afterwards and making me concerned that there's a problem with our credit card right before we go on a trip. Also, I don't know why the email didn't say just say that there was a problem with the condo. Why the misinformation that there's a problem with our credit card? I get that pipes burst and water damage happens (I actually don't know the cause of the water damage), but I was really put off by how it was handled. There was no apology, there was next to no identifying information in the text exchange (I hadn't gotten a text from them before, so I had no idea who the sender was), there was very little explanation of what happened, and there was absolutely no attempt in helping us make other accommodations. Here's the text exchange - Maui Vista Resort (MVR): Hello MVR: Please note unfortunately we will have to cancel your reservation Unit had a water damage and is being fixed Me: Can you confirm who this is? MVR: I'm the owner Me: Of what exactly? We have several reservations for an upcoming trip. MVR: Maui condo Me: Are there no other units available? MVR: No That was it. No apology, no trying to make it right, just curt responses treating me like I was an inconvenience. Since this went down the day before we were supposed to arrive, we had to scramble at the last minute to find a place and ended up spending almost 4 times as much as we had budgeted, because that's all that was available.

Had a great stay at this place. We were in the second building back and on the top floor facing the ocean. Can’t recall the room number we were in. Was a bit dated but it didn’t matter as it was clean and who cares? Your in Maui! Facility’s were well manicured and cleaned. BBQ areas were clean. Pools are on the smaller side but we’re just fine. Water was warm. The best part about staying here is you can walk across the road to the excellent charley young beach. Good snorkelling here. Usually see some turtles. Would stay here again.
