Great stay but needs updating of ADA access to the outdoor pool areas

I was recovering from and accident and confined mostly to a wheelchair. The ADA access to the pool area was very difficult. #1 The door handles are too high and very difficult to pull toward you w/out them opening right into you! #2 The 'hidden' elevators in back hallways be labeled for W/C use. Otherwise our experience was wonderful!

This is a clean hotel. Elevators are weird... and slow. WiFi is lousy. Diablo’s is Great food and service. I was here for business and it is Vegas. Huge lobby and long queue for check in and checkout. Staff is reserved friendly. Not as smoky as many Vegas hotels and the bodies exhibit was very interesting.

POOR location on the strip, rooms did not have refrigerator or a coffee maker or a microwave. I was treated poorly by 2 staff members. The resort fee of 35 dollars is excessive for what they charge you for food and beverages. The hot tub in the pool area was terrible...luke warm and no jet pressure.

In my previous dining experience at The Lux located inside the Venetian Casino, I had lunch at the Lux before heading to catch my flight. When the meal arrived, the portion was very generous and I wasn’t able to finish half of the meal. Instead of wasting it, I asked for a take out container and took it with me to the airport because my flight was late in the evening. While waiting for my flight, I was able to enjoy my take out left-overs again. All I had to get was a drink.

Stayed for five nights and had a great time. Check in was a disaster as there were computer issues and we waited for two hours to check in. Pyramid room on tenth floor had not been upgraded but it was fine. The room had two double beds which were very comfortable, clean and spacious. Nice big bathroom fluffy towels changed daily. Room could do with a coffee/tea maker and a fridge but apart from that no issues. Buffet brunch had unlimited mimosas and so much food from around the world, excellent choice. Didn’t have many dealings with staff but those we did were pleasant and helpful. Not the best hotel in Las Vegas but good enough for us.
