Planet Hollywood is a beautiful resort and I had the time of my life there. The staff went above and beyond to make the vacation memorable. Initially we were missing alcohol that we requested for in our room but Samuel and Henry cleared that up as well as making all of our dinner reservations and helping schedule our Covid tests. Kimberly in star class was very friendly and helpful as well. The entertainment was fantastic, especially Ronnie, and the dancers. I really enjoyed yoga at the beach with Jose. It was also relaxing getting massages at the beach. I loved feeding the monkeys at the beach. We spent a lot of time at the swim up bars and Mario was a great bartender. Byron at the lobby bar (in the picture attached) made delicious drinks! I wish that I could have stayed longer.

Despite the current pandemic circumstances the stay has been awesome food and drinks are great and customer service experience has been great I went to Phumped phfit class and it was really pumped in just 30 min Jorge was really awesome. What needs to be improved is the restaurant’s reservation as the line was big and just one person making reservations which caused time wasting for the day and it should be more agile to have a customer’s live a star experience

This country is amazingly vibrant, and I am even here during the dry season. Like, I can’t even begin to list all the plant life I’ve encountered, it is unreal. The people are great and as a language nerd I am thrilled to have the opportunity to expand my understanding of the language. The spa is a great place to spend time here, I got a massage from Karen and the assisted stretches and essential oils just made me feel like I was getting everything that I ever could have wanted. For me personally I can only spend so much time at the pool bar, which is great fun here too, but I just can’t deal with the after effects, so they have yoga classes twice a day which calm my restless mind and body and really make me feel like I’m leaving better than I came. Jose is such a great instructor, I highly recommend both the morning and the evening sessions as a great way to start and end your day. He is awesome at meeting you where you are in your practice and can teach classes simultaneously in english and spanish. All in all the people really make an experience for me. Julio is always a warm friendly face to see in the golf cart shuttles on these steep hills and Kimberly and Vanessa are the sweetest gals at the ground floor and will assist you however you need. Even the security guard was great, telling me what type of animal tracks I was seeing in the sand, keeping an eye out for my friends’ comings and goings for me while I was away and finding forgotten sandals left by the pool. We did an excursion to a waterfall and had the best time seeing other parts of the country and learning about Costa Rica. I highly recommend doing something to get a more comprehensive view of the country if this is your first time, as it was mine. I will definitely be returning!

The food of all restaurants was poor (except So Cal the buffet restaurant). Staff friendly but there was one member name Alonso that was unnecessary rude and agressive when we went in to a snack bar to know it.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. It was my first ever all inclusive, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I noticed that they were not skimping on food and drinks, which I thought was great. Also, the staff was very friendly. Believe it or not, some of my favorite moments on the property were speaking with the driver (Jeffrey) that takes around the property. He was a really friendly and down to ear person and very entertaining to be around. The concierge was also friendly and always did their best to make us happy. The beds were comfortable, showers were amazing, outlets were very available, especially easy for Americans since they’re the same. The juice was AMAZING, especially watermelon, and the food was good - you’re likely to find something that fits your tastes. Some cons that I didn’t like about the hotel is that they frequently missed some orders or got something wrong when I ordered room service. Not a big deal but don’t be surprised if that happens. Also, room service options are limited. If a lot of people have early morning excursions, you may not be able to get room service, which is disappointing. Another thing I didn’t enjoy was the bathroom situation. It was more “intimate” that I’d like, with nothing more that a opaque glass door separating it from the rest of the bathroom. It also didn’t have a fan. If you’re coming with a partner then I’d suggest coming to an agreement on how to protect each others’ privacy lol. One last gripe I had was that the location is far away from excursions, but a bonus is that it’s right next to the beach. I’m more of the excursion type, not the beach type but I can see how this wouldn’t be a problem for a lot of people. The drives weren’t that bad tbh, especially since we were driven by other companies who organized the excursions, but I thought I’d mention it. One more note. If you’re here for the alcohol then I heard from other guests that you want to get the star class upgrade, that way you get the top shelf stuff and access to private pools and all that. I wasn’t too bothered since it’s not really my thing but if that appeals to you, it’s worth looking into. I found myself recommending this place to people when I went home, so in summary that tells you what you need to know. Overall it was a really good experience and I’d do it again. Cost wise it was very fair, just don’t forget to bring a hat and/or sunscreen. Good luck planning your trip and have fun!
