I stayed at GH Baha Mar for an industry trade show and the property was absolutely perfect for what I needed. Super close to the CC, the facilities/restaurants (excellent food options by the way) were all in close proximity to my tower and as a bit of a fitness nerd, the gym was excellent (not what you usually see at these resorts). Regardless of the conference, the resort is perfect for a family vacation too - pools, family friendly restaurants and you're right on the beach! Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was our first trip to the Bahamas and Hyatt came through for us on all points. The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was a perfect first getaway to the Bahamas. Courteous staff, attention to detail and an overall incredible experience.

This is our first time back to Nassau in many years and therefore our first time at this new property along with another couple. We were blown away by how nice the facility is. Plenty of pool and beach options on this expansive site. Most notable, however, was the guest services managment. We had an issue that was dealt with fully and expeditiously by manager Michelle S. Her professionalism and pride in the property was surprisingly personal for such a large establishment. We will clearly be back.

Stayed for a week. The resort is simply outstanding. The staff, activities, facilities and service are all excellent. We had a great time. All of the restaurants and clubs are excellent as well! You will pay top dollar, but you get your monies worth. This is our go-to hotel in Nassau. Can’t wait to return!

The hotel is gorgeous, well maintained and the property is pristine. Every single staff member is helpful and friendly. Every person we encountered throughout our stay had a huge welcoming smile on their face. Our check in process felt warm and made us feel very welcome. We got upgraded for no reason, other than the fact that they just had a nicer room available and offered it to us. Which excites me to no end. I adore a surprise upgrade. We had a king bed, with a balcony and a partial ocean view. It was breathtaking. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quite spacious. There were no room keys - they give you a bracelet which identifies you as a guest and opens your door. I found this to be adorable. The pools are deliciously heated and beautiful. There are many lounge chairs in the water so you can sun bathe and dip your legs in at the same time. The only downside to this hotel is that they charge an arm and a leg for any extras you require. Need a fridge in the room? That’ll be an extra $25 per night plus exorbitant taxes. Resort fees? With the taxes, over $50.00 per night. The hotel is cashless so you either need a credit card or charge it to your room. And as I said, nothing is price as shown. Taxes will double your price on everything. Casino minimums were ridiculous. Nothing was affordable. Most tables STARTED at $15.00 minimum bets. Forget needing anything in the gift shop. The prices are asinine. $15.00 for a bag of chips?? $10.00 for a candy bar?? No exaggeration. In what world are these prices real? So just make sure you are well prepared with snacks BEFORE you get to the hotel. The rooms have an iPad that allows you to communicate with the hotel if you forgot something at home, but don’t wait around for what you request. It’ll be an hour before they bring it, if they bring it at all. The gym was nicer than your average hotel gym - it had plenty of machines but it was very busy every morning/early afternoon of our stay. The beach was beautiful - they had large floats in the ocean to use, which was adorable, but there are SO MANY annoying people trying to sell you things on the beach that it takes away from the relaxation. Drinks, water sports, braiding, hand made jewelry... no way to just close your eyes and relax. All in all, I would definitely stay again. I didn’t get to see the inside of the other hotels in the area, but from the outside, this looked to be head and shoulders above the rest.
