I been to several resorts in the Caribbean and can say this has been the worst vacation up to date. I’m not sure if this resort was understaffed but out of 4 night we got asked two times if we needed anything by the same person and still did not get anything. With the exception of Tiffany and the wait staff in the restaurants every other staff members we was in contact with seem to be annoyed with us asking for anything from ordering drinks at the bar to trying to ride sailboats. I’ve never left a bad review but it was even visible that the bar tenders were literally making fun of the guest as we would walk up to place a order. Very unwelcoming feeling. I really hate it for my fiancée because this was her first trip out of the states and it was a very poor experience. The highlight of the trip was a massage at the spa and a fishing trip.

Sandals south coast was very fun but it was mostly because of the staff and how accommodating they were. The entertainment staff with Tiffanie,Owen, Lion, Kimron and Tah-Jeh, make for a fun trip if you participate in their events. The bars are very enjoyable, especially the main swim up bar. While you are there make sure to talk to my man Desrick (our personal favorite bartender). Also Krystal and Dexroy are always there to take care of your liquid needs. Lastly, the food is especially delicious. Definitely try out the jerk shack if you want authentic Jamaican food. Lenessa, Dane, and Latoya are always there to make it a great experience. Overall it was a great trip and these are just few of the people who made this trip so memorable.

The staff here is amazing!! The restaurants are very good, the pools are always clean and well staffed. We felt very safe and overwhelmed by the kindness of the entire staff. The beaches are groomed and cleaned every day.

Our 3 children and their spouses took us to Sandals South Coast for our 30th Anniversary in October. It was a wonderful vacation! The resort was beautiful and clean and our week was everything we hoped it would be. Before we arrived, we talked about visiting a number of different Sandals over the next few years. The staff at Sandals South Coast were amazing and so much fun. They quickly became friends to the point that we will definitely be going back to this Sandals to see them again. We would like to give a special shout out to some of the staff that made our trip so memorable: Fitzroy, Jackson, Vernard, Owayne, Taleta at Giuseppe's, Roberto - the manager of Sushi on the Sand, Shahived Spence, Ishmael, and Gewayne. You all do an amazing job and we can't thank you enough! The Tolloti Family

What can I say about South Coast...we LOVE this place! This is our second trip here, I brought the wife here 10 years ago for her 30th birthday and back for the big 4-0! Many things have changed since our last trip but it is still a wonderful place to vacation. That absolute BEST part about this location are the people that work here. They are THE nicest people. Everyone from top to bottoms takes the time to say hello and welcome you home. It is a quieter scene than other resorts and we like it that way. They do a good job of separating the night life from the rooms, so you can’t hear the loud music if you don’t want to. The excursions are fun, pricey to be expected, but a lot of fun. Last time we were here we ziplined, this time we took the catamaran sunset cruise and it was spectacular, even though it rained for half the time it was still so much fun, and we met some really great people. Anytime you can jump off the deck of the boat into the ocean, or grab a drink and walk down the ladder and float with a beverage is a huge win. We had the black river and Appleton rum tour planed but those got canceled on us. So we opted for massages instead. They were very nice but very expensive. On our last full day here we reserved and cabana on the beach...I HIGHLY recommend this. We had a concierge room which is nice, but you do not get the added benefits of a butler room, but you DO when you reserve the cabana. You get a butler and all the food/snacks/drinks they can get you. Next to the catamaran it was the highlight of our trip. Make sure you get the Young King Javel as your guy, he is a wonderful person, so full of life and a pleasure to talk to. The food is good, not 5 star quality, but I think that is to be expected when you need to have everything flown or shipped into the resort. The best place for us to eat was Sushi by the Sea..we LOVE sushi and consider ourselves sushi snobs. This place was fantastic. Do yourself a and make a reservation to sit inside at the bar, right next to the sushi chef Dindo Aguilar, he will make you what you ask for perfectly but will continue to just make you random things to try...everything he made was exceptional. And Alexandra our server made it even better. The ONLY downfall for this place is the water. If you are looking for pristine crystal clear blue water and no weeds, then this isn’t the place for you, unfortunately. But the pools are great!!! A few things we miss from our last visit. They brought in locals and set them up around to pool once a week so sell local swag, it was a really neat experience and a change to buy some very cool stuff. I understand the COVID played a role in them not being here. Lastly they had a guy who would come set up a jerk chicken stand on the beach for lunch, his food was incredible. They replaced it with the “Jerk Shack” a permanent establishment on the beach. It’s great it’s in the beach but the quality wasn’t as good. As for COVID, they do a VERY good job of making you sanitize your hands everywhere you go, the staff does a great job of keeping things very clean and save. You NEVER see an employee without their mask on. We highly recommend this resort.
