My husband and I stayed at Kidani Village for the first half of a split stay. The resort is beautiful but small so trying to find something quick to eat was hard. My only issue was how long it took to get to parks other than Animal Kingdom. We sat on the bus for about 25 minutes getting to Magic Kingdom. We were on the 5th floor so seeing the animals at night was difficult. We found a light that shined into the safari the last night we were there. The staff was really nice and grounds are amazing. We walked to Jambo house in about 10 minutes just to see the difference and boy was there one! If you like the feel of a small resort and spent a lot of time at the resort, Kidani is great. Lots of places to just sit and view the animals!

As DVC members and a family of five, we find ourselves here in a one bedroom often. It’s a great way to save points on this category and we love the two bathrooms! This time we opted for a standard view that overlooks the covered check in area. It was still quiet and clean and close to the lobby. The furnishings and carpet seem a tad worn but still have a bit of time before replacement may be necessary. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again soon...

LOVED the size of the one bedroom villa. These have two bathrooms which is awesome for a family with teens. We really enjoyed watching the afternoon storms roll in over the savanna. The variety of animals was great and it was so peaceful to observe them. Great bus service. This resort could really use a quick service option. My only complaint is when we arrived at 1 in the morning not one cast member greeted us although 3 watched our family troop in with luggage.

    More than I expecgted

Our room at Kidani Village was a bit of walk from the lobby (5 mins). However, every so many feet were large picture window so one could view the animals. From our room I watched the Savannah awake. First to wake was the ostrich, followed by the Zebras, gazelles and finally the cattle. For those who like all you can eat Bomas is a deal. We prefered the elegance of the Jiko cooking place. Both located at the Lodge a short suttle ride from Kidani. Only one restuarant in Kidani, Sanna a great place for breakfast or coctails. Be sure to reserve for dinner it gets crowded. Oh and everyone raved about the dipping bread! We found the underground parking to be unique also. A more than expected delightful to stay but be prepared to walk if you are assigned a peaceful room away from the lobby.
