Very cool and trendy hotel, great ambience. Food and drinks are very good and prices actually not that bad. Definitely worth while getting a room with a private patio area if you can. Most staff helpful and friendly but unfortunately some of the people at front desk seemed more interested in looking cool than sorting out customer issues. Not what you should expect especially when paying the prices they charge.

6th Time Staying At Ace in The Desert And Just As Great As The 1st

I discovered The Ace in about 2011 or 2012 after I had moved back to San Diego from Scottsdale. I immediately fell in love with the mellow vibe of the smaller (non-resort) quaint hotel and mellow pool vibe. It is a very relaxing place to stay but you can definitely party at the pool as well, if you are so inclined. A/C in the rooms works great and the beds are very soft and comfy. I try and go out 2-5 times a Summer from San Diego just to get out of the city and turn off my brain, even if I don't stay the night, sometimes I'll leave early and spend all day at the pool, eat dinner in Palm Desert and head back across the 74. In the 10 years this place has been open, many other smaller boutique hotels have popped up in and around Palm Springs, but I am a creature of habit and keep going back to the Ace as the service and atmosphere is always great.

I loved every minute of my stay at the ACE hotel in Palm Springs. The style / decor was so trendy and there was a picture perfect spot around every corner. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and answered all my questions with ease. Kings highway has amazing food !!! Definitely a must eat spot at the hotel !!! The only suggestion I have is to add a full length mirror in the rooms. It’s hard to see your full outfit in the sideways mirror at the sink.

    Beyond disappointed.

I’d wanted to stay at the Ace for a couple years and was so excited to finally be booking a trip there. I know it can get rowdy during special events, so I called in advance to make sure there wasn’t some big festival or something going on, since we were bringing two kids. The receptionist I spoke with three weeks before arrival was super salty and short with me, saying, “It’s going to be 110 degrees then. NO ONE will be here.” So I booked the room for about $400. Upon check in, we couldn’t park anywhere on property and the pool was slammed - there wasn’t anywhere to put our stuff. Turns out Ace was hosting their annual Craft Beer Weekend. Are you kidding me?! It was 114 degrees and our a/c wasn’t on in the room upon arrival, so we tried to make the best of it by going in the pool and figured we’d stick to a corner on the steps. Well, drunk chicks fell into me twice while holding my four year old. We left. I really don’t appreciate the attitude I got for asking about the very thing I was trying to avoid. I’ll never go back. What a disappointment and waste of money.
