Staff make you feel like a princess! Great attention to detail throughout the resort. Drinks are amazing and meals are made with pride. The proximity to the ocean is stunning! And the shows each night are high quality!!!

    Not my cup of coffee

The outstanding aspects of the Grand Fiesta is the wonderfully attentive staff and the great location right on the beach. There are also wonderful pools along with direct access to the ocean. An artificial bay reduces the waves and provides a calm area for swimming or kayaking. There is a nice assortment of specialty bars and restaurants. And, kid fee is a great experience if that is what your needing. Upon arrival, be ready for some pressure to spend 30-60 minutes listening to a sales pitch about their other properties. The all inclusive food and drinks were enjoyable with very good meals in the three specialty restaurants. The only things that have an extra charge are fancy coffee drinks, non-house wine, and some specialty entrees, and meals at the steak house. No reservations are accepted so waits for tables are routinely 30-60 minutes unless you dine early or late. If you are serious about wine, stick with the mixed drinks. The wine selection is basically a house white and a red. I did pay extra for a bottle in the Italian restaurant and was underwhelmed. I would have done better to save $60 and go with the house wine. The fitness room was well equipped, although they had a perpetual lack of towels. One of the major downsides is the continual music. I am a light sleeper and there was continual music pounding at all hours of the day. I found ear plugs and a white noise machine as mandatory for falling asleep. The condition of my room was one of the worst I have ever experienced. I had a plugged sink, a door that was hard to close, a barely hot shower, and a broken air conditioning system that had two temperatures, 65 or 80 degrees. After four attempts to fix the HVAC the workman told me the black box was broken and I would have to suffer through managing the extremes until they got one from the warehouse, which never arrived. I was pretty amazed they did not give me a new room. I endured the extremes in temperatures for my 5 day stay. I was also locked out of my room one day when my electronic key failed. The only way the hotel could open the room was to take off the door frame, which took 35 minutes. Overall, the front desk was very responsive and concerned about all the issues, but they were unable to get all of them resolved. I didn’t expect a mosquito infestation on a beach. That may be a lack of experiencing beaches in semi-tropical locations. Be sure to bring your mosquito repellant. Those in my group didn’t and their legs were covered in angry, red mosquito bites. They don’t serve half and half or real cream with coffee. It’s all non-dairy or condensed milk, even at the Starbucks. If you are a cream aficionado stick with milk, black, or tea. It not that this is a bad property for everyone, it just wasn’t my cup of coffee with cream. If a person loves the water, is ready to party day to night, likes to eat with abandon, doesn’t need much sleep, doesn’t mind the tattered condition, and drinks their coffee black, you will enjoy it. In summary, this is not a property that I will probably ever return to.

    Fabulous again and again!

This was our third trip to this resort. We had joined the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club three years ago. We will exploring more of their locations next year. We were not disappointed! This is an adults-only resort and it offered all the relaxation we needed. The restaurants were wonderful and the service was individualized and catered to our needs. Highly recommended!! Be sure to look up Jacinto in the D’Brick restaurant, Concepcion and Miriam in the spa, and David and Rafael serving daily at the cabanas. A supremely wonderful staff. See you again!

I recommend staying here. It was solid. Only complaint I had was it was a little bit of an older crowd. But all the staff was very friendly and always wanted to help. By far the best were Emilio, Abraham, Juan and Omar. Sky bar was a lot of fun and the bartenders there were a great time. The bartenders behind the pool bar werent very friendly though and took forever to get a drink. Thats where Omar came in clutch throughout our whole stay. Hes the man. And the Wings from room service were FIRE!
