As a first-time Hall of Fame member, my experience varied greatly, especially since I had prepaid for special attention. In 2023, during my trip to Cancun, the service was disappointingly slow, and the response to my inquiries was consistently negative. However, this didn't bother me much, as I was there simply to unwind, and my family is easily satisfied with good food and sunshine. Returning from Punta Cana in early April 2024, I was warmly welcomed by my Butler, Alexander, who had already arranged dinner reservations and champagne delivery to my room, all before I had even checked in. Compared to Cancun, the check-in process was notably swift this time.The accommodations in Punta Cana were spacious, with each sofa easily converting into a sofa bed, allowing my kids to stay in the same room with us this time. Alexander ensured that a cabana was reserved for my family every morning, and my daughter practically lived at the beach from 7 am to 6 pm daily. Our days consisted of beach outings, dining, and indulging in drinks, with a couple of peaceful days in between.However, chaos ensued when 22 family members arrived to celebrate my husband and my birthdays. That's when I met Mariel, my other Butler, who efficiently handled the check-in process for the seven additional rooms required for my extended family. I am immensely grateful for Alexander and Mariel, who made my life considerably easier by attending to my family's needs while I enjoyed some much-needed relaxation. Their exceptional service was instrumental in catering to my family's demands, which can be quite demanding at times. Now for the actual review Go to dinner before 7pm if you want to be seated right away. If you try to get in after 7pm, there will be a 30 min or more wait. Most of the food is buffet style but pretty good I’m my opinion. Ciao is the only restaurant that is a La carte. Zen was not my favorite. Stay at the main pool for all the action! It’s a party all day. I went during Easter Break and it was very crowded with tons of high schoolers. My middle school kids enjoyed making new friends! There are so much to do, from water park, lazy River, foam parties, beach and pool volleyball. And Lastly, don’t miss the shows, Alexander and Mariel, reserved front row seats for my family every night. The theater gets filled up quickly. The shows at this property were exceptional!

The food overall is good. Service can be hit or miss. Toro was probably the worse restaurant. Our steaks were trying to dry and the service was terrible. The waiter barely checked on us and it was hard to get any refills of water even. The waiter even pressured for a tip after they provided poor quality of service. The beach is beautiful and the pools are great also. The lazy river is super lazy and slow. To the point you have to push yourself or you will sit in one spot. The room was beautiful and we actually had a pretty decent view of the beach. The cleaning staff definitely were not top notch. We placed our towels in a pile on the bathroom floor. I came back to the room minutes after the cleaning lady just left and went to wash my face. I wiped my face with the towel that was hanging up and instantly realized it was one of the wet dirty towels we threw into a pile for them to swap out with cleans ones. The cleaning lady just hung them back up. Completely disgusting. I will not be investigating in becoming a “legendary member” after this experience. It makes me wonder what other areas they cut corners.

I was just at Hard Rock Punta Cana on 4/8-4/11 and I'm already planning on going back in November it was amazing, it was truly one of the most relaxing weeks of my life. The nightlife was great, the food was amazing especially Ipanema some of the best food I ever ate. The Pools and Beach were spectacular. My stay was perfect from beginning to end.

Jhanna Coronado and Sammy are the BEST Butlers. We have had the pleasure of their service many times and they never disappoint. They anticipate and meet every need and ask always with a great attitude and smile. They are terrific and we should do better posting the well-deserved positive review. Thank you for a great week! A shout out to Edward (Scooby), too, for his great service every day. He is always quickly taking care of guests and their requests.

The management and security at this resort are absolutely awful. I was physically assaulted by an extremely drunk guest and the hotel did absolutely nothing. Security literally sat there and watched it happen. I had asked security for help after this visibly stumbling drunk woman first accosted my daughter and they laughed at me. She then proceeded to physically attack me and security did nothing. Police were called, reports were filed, I asked for the security footage to be maintained and not one person at the hotel has helped me. I am now contacting a lawyer to pursue this for me. I am still shaking from this incident and I cannot believe the hotel has done nothing.
