We stayed at the Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana. The beach was wonderful and Sammy Sosa was excellent (one of the beach servers) and the restore was kept very clean. We had upgraded to a private pool, but upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to upgrade again. I had already checked the value of the "privilege upgrade" and for the additional cost decided it was not good value. The hotel representative was also trying to sell the "privilege upgrade" to us at double the price I would have paid for it back home. I felt that each restaurant including the buffet was extremely noisy. 3 of our 7 night stay we had very loud music in our room from the outdoor convention area near the "quite pool". Thankfully this ended by 10 pm each night as we are early risers. The food was good, but not excellent. The premium liquor seemed to be saved for the "privilege" people. I would like to find a resort where everyone is treated equally and they do away with "privilege" areas. But I guess as long as people think they need a butter to reserve their dinner reservations, this will continue.

Beautiful resort. Our butler Maria was fabulous. Sweet, helpful and very knowledgeable and responsive. We stayed in a preferred private pool king suite. The spa was excellent as well. The hydro therapy was a nice surprise. Get to dinner early to avoid the wait

Loved the resort. People were very friendly and very clean. Shows were good in the evening, nice beach and lots of seating next to pool. All the restaurants were great. Dario for entertainment was awesome and for from show time provide great survice. Spa was excellent as well.

Wonderful place. Enjoyed room, service and all the restaurants. This is our third time visit. Will come back. Dario and flor from show time were great. We especially enjoyed everyone at Orio. Entertainment every night has been great. Marlin at French restaurant gave us great service tonight. ??

We enjoyed Secrets Royal Beach very much. The resort was beautiful and clean. Everyone was friendly and professional. Our spa experience was refreshing. The food at all of the restaurants was very tasty. The nightly entertainment was very enjoyable. Our butler, Maria, was so friendly and helpful. She made our stay so much more relaxing.
