I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fives Oceanfront at Puerto Morelos in Mexico and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the resort. The hotel is situated right on the pristine shores of the Caribbean Sea, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and jungle from every angle. The accommodations at the Fives are nothing short of luxurious. The outside was a true feast for the senses, exuding elegance, luxury, and a touch of tropical charm. As soon as I stepped up the main entrance, I was greeted by the sight of towering ceilings, dark wood flooring with water features surrounding me, polished marble floors, and stunning ocean views that stretched out before me. The lobby itself was beautifully appointed with rich furnishings, vibrant artwork, and lush greenery that added a posh atmosphere. The color palette was a harmonious blend of earthy tones and ocean-inspired hues, creating a feeling of warmth and relaxation that was both invigorating and soothing. My bedroom was a true haven of comfort and luxury. Once I entered the room, I was struck by the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness that went into creating a relaxing and inviting space. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The stunning rainfall shower head in the spacious and modern bathroom, along with the sleek design and high-water pressure, made for a truly indulgent shower experience, and it was the perfect way to start each day. The bedroom itself was outfitted with 2 large, flat-screen TVs, perfect for cozying up and watching a movie after a long day of sun tanning, eating and of course a few drinks. The addition of USB ports near the bedside table made charging my phone easy and convenient. The room also featured a comfortable seating area with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a enjoying a cup of delicious Marley coffee, which was served fresh and flavorful. The rich aroma and smooth flavor of the coffee perfectly complemented the stunning ocean views, creating a sensory experience that was both indulgent and revitalizing. And let's not forget about the super soft pillows on the king-sized bed. I never had trouble getting a good night's sleep with such a plush and comfortable bed to sink into at the end of each day. Overall, the luxurious amenities in the bedroom truly made it feel like a home away from home. I could not have asked for a more comfortable and inviting space to unwind during my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible food at the resort. They offer a variety of cuisines, from traditional Mexican dishes to international fare. The restaurant at The Romarley Beach House was a culinary gem, offering a diverse menu of dishes inspired by local flavors and international cuisine. The talented chefs crafted each dish with precision and creativity, using only the finest ingredients to create a symphony of flavors that delighted the palate. From freshly caught seafood to farm-fresh produce and decadent desserts, every bite was a culinary delight that left me craving more. Room service was also a true indulgence, offering the convenience of enjoying gourmet meals in the comfort and privacy of my own room. Whether craving a decadent breakfast in bed, a leisurely lunch on the balcony, or a delicious dinner at the dinning table, the room service menu offered a tempting selection of dishes that catered to every palate and preference. Overall, the five-star food offerings at Fives were a highlight of my stay, providing a culinary experience that was truly unforgettable. Paradise need not be huge

Perfect size traveling with our adult family of 6. Small enough to be intimate and easily accessible but large enough to still have privacy and have multiple superb food, drink and recreation options. The rooms were immaculate and housekeepers were incredible. Although the food and drinks at every restaurant (as well as room service) was fantastic, by far the best feature is the graciousness and hospitality of the staff. They were all simply amazing! Specials thanks go out to: Ambassadors Luisa, Valeria, David, Angel Daniela and Luisa -helped work out airport transfer issue Herbito-not sure exactly what his title is but he always had a kind welcoming smile and handshake. Horrible experience

Horrible booking experience. Booked a year ago, 2 months before we were leave we get an email that we need to pay in full due to high booking. We were going with 2 other couples 3 weeks before we are to leave I receive an email (not the other 2 couples) that they have moved our reservation to the Fives Beaches hotel 30 minutes away in a different town. Emails, phone calls only to be told we are so sorry we are trying to find you a room. 2 days before we leave I get a call from the manager at the beaches hotel saying they bow have a 2 bd suite Oceanview they want to upgrade us and one of the other couples for all the issues. We arrive and go to check in and they have no idea what we are talking about but they do have our original room I had them call this manager who works at the Fives Beaches but does reservations for all the Fives hotels. She lied and said she never told me or my friend that. All along the way I asked to speak to a sales Mgr or someone with higher authority and was told we can't give that information out. This company and their booking system caused me so much stress . There are so many other beautiful properties with larger pools, better food and a better overall experience . I will never book here again
Dirty Diaper in room on arrival!
Highendtravelgal on Mar 11, 2024
We arrived early and were told our room would be ready for 1. At 2 it wasn't ready and they "were changing the filter on the A/C unit". At 3 we finally got in. One sliding door broken, toilet set broken, and DIRTY diaper left in garbage under the kitchen sink. They fixed none of these issues. I actually took the dirty diaper down to the front desk. Really no response at all. Has a full kitchen but not a single utensil or bowl supplied until we asked over and over the following day. Maid came to clean room and we were getting ready to leave. Asked her to come back in 30 mins and she never did. So room not cleaned one complete day of our stay. No card for door showing 'privacy/clean' ever provided although we asked multiple times. The one thing they are good at is trying to sell you memberships or time shares. We had to figure out a way to avoid the lobby and the sales people. I would not stay here again.
