Do not pay for a membership, they bait and switch. When we signed on we negotiated a cruise for free when we stay at the Grand Parisio Cancun. Now they say we can pay for this service at a discounted rate, $1300??.. The massages are included, but you can’t get them at the Grand Parisio, they can only be redeemed at the shopping mall.Supporo beers you have to pay extra for. Let’s see what else we have to pay for for our Gold membership, UGH!

I booked three rooms for us and two more families so we can celebrate my daughter's first birthday. Unfortunately, my daughter got sick and was admitted to the hospital. From that moment my wife or myself had to leave and come back to the resort every day. On the third day, just out of nowhere, resort security stopped my wife and another kid on their way to a hospital visit. They were held hostage over ~US$40 for the resort store and laundry service. My wife explained they were coming back in a couple of hours but security insisted they go back from the gate to the reception desk to pay. She lost valuable 30 minutes of hospital visit time because of that. Even though we travel a lot and this was not our first stay in Iberostar we never experienced something like this. My 3-year-old ended up being super upset watching all the drama and I am still waiting for a proper explanation of why this happened.

This was my fourth visit to the Riviera Maya, but my first time at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort. I went with my friend and we stayed there for a week in March. So we had an amazing trip! Excellent food, accommodation, very lush grounds, large pool and beautiful beach. All the staff are wonderful and fun, but my heart goes to Sarah, the concierge. She was always polite and very helpful with our few concerns/ questions we had. Thank you, dear, you are the best one! I so much sorry that we couldn't stay for 10 days, but definitely we are planning to go again !

I went to this resort for 1 week with my mother and my wife. The resort is absolutely stunning. The food is quite good including the specialty restaurants. The pool is beautiful. The grounds are breathtaking. There is a lot of wildlife around the resort (peacocks, even wild pigs), it is quite cool, however they do wake you up early in the morning :) Now here's the issues I found with this resort. We didn't specify that we had our two mothers and they needed two separate beds, when we checked in at 3pm, they only had king size beds. So the next day, they gave us a different room for them. Also the checkin was painfully slow and we were the only ones checking in at that time. I also found the resort to be understaff and the waiters in the restaurants working very hard and not as friendly. In the past times, in all the resorts i've gone in mexico, i always found the staff friendly. And i don't blame the staff, they are clearly understaff. For example, in the specialty restaurants, we had one waiter taking order, serving, cleaning etc... The other big issue was that after 10am, it is impossible to find a lounge chair in the pool or the beach. Everybody reserves them early in the morning, and i get it people want the best spots. But in the past, in other resorts when i didn't reserve my loungers early, I could still find loungers in less desirable areas. But this is the first resort where you cannot find any loungers at all after 10-10:30am. It's a big problem, as i saw many people coming after that time having to sit on the floor or sit on a railing. The resort can easily remedy this. There are many areas around the pool and beach with empty spaces. Put loungers. There are even some grass area close to the pool that are empty, pave them and put loungers. I would not return to this resort because of this issue which is real shame.

It was very fun Would defenetly recommend it and it was very fun for Family and tp go with friends. Personal is very friendly and cool the activitis are also very good. The pools are good Everything is clean I loved it here I would come here back.
