    I had a number of issues during my stay. Toilet broke and it took a while to get it fixed. I had a family emergency and had to use the phone to make an international call home - it was 4 minutes and I was charged 40 dollars. When I asked re this charge at checkout, I got an unhelpful response and zero sympathy or interest, despite the fact that I was crying. I felt given the outrageous cost of this hotel, that the service should have been much better. Also be warned, they will pre authorize your card for 200 dollars PER NIGHT extra for incidentals, and don’t offer any option to pay up front for things. Extremely inflexible. I was given a pile of towels, two of which were dirty. There was also a gang of teenagers jumping into the pool at midnight, and I had to be up early. when i rang reception to tell them, they said ‘the pool is closed’, as if we were making it up, and it took security 15 minutes to get there. Quite far out of the city, not really walkable. Extremely disappointed with the service here.

    Began our 3 night stay in the Marina Tower after waiting approximately 15 minutes for the shuttle at the airport. Check in was quick and easy and the front desk person was pleasant and detailed (should have remembered her name). We were offered the $5 per night to utilize at the Hotel for foregoing a room cleaning. We asked for additional coffee from the Maid the next few days and she was happy to supply this. We ate at Quinn's Ale House the first evening and the food, beer and service was a 10, thanks to Daniel and Patti. The room was clean, roomy and overlooking the Marina and pool. We did lounge at the pool the second day and towels and pool food/drink service was provided. We utilized the exercise room as well which was good size, great equipment and clean. We did not have a car and called upon Uber several times and the resort has a designated pick up location. We used the shuttle to return to the airport, which is a short distance. Very pleased with this Hotel and we will stay here again.

    Bay Tower of Sheraton Marina, A Tired Looking Sheraton

    I stayed at the Bay Tower of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina from May 8 to 11. Although, the views from the room is beautiful, the hotel has a functional fitness center, there is really not much you can do there. The bathroom is outdated, small, tired looking, no enough counter space and hooks to put or hang your own stuff, the water pressure for the sink and shower is very weak, and the restaurants are quite mediocre and over-priced. There are no other restaurants or stores nearby, if you don't go to downtown, you are stuck with very limited options. Also, during the time I was there, the Bay Tower was understaffed, I called a few times and no body picked up the phone, and I had to stay in the line for a long time to be able to talk to a staff. Maybe, my timing was just bad. The hotel does provide free shuttle from the airport, that is kind of nice.

    Extremely rude and aggressive front desk staff. We needed to cancel a reservation due to medical emergency and a lady named Rebecca/ Becky was unwilling to listen to me. She would not let me complete and kept interrupting me. We ended up losing our money. If the front desk are so unprofessional and unfriendly then I will NOT recommend anyone staying here. I'm sure they will make the rest of the stay highly unpleasant. Please do NOT make a reservation here if you're trying to enjoy your vacation.

    Hotel staff Becky & Mary are extremely rude, unprofessional, won't BOOK this hotel ever again. Lost my money ! If you want to save yourself from their scam, never book it ! Extremely dirty hotel and cleaning staff is terrible
