We booked the Fairmont through the Amex Platinum Fine Hotels and were not disappointed. The location is great and we loved everything about it. The staff could not be nicer and more attentive. Breakfast was included with our stay and was delicious. We had a 100 dollar hotel credit through Amex so we ordered a pre dinner salad from room service and it was delicious. The bar is also lively and fun. It is a great location if you are a runner because you can pick up the trail to Stanley Park. This will be my go to hotel in Vancouver.

This is one of our all-time favorite hotels. It is modern, beautiful and the service is outstanding. Our room was very spacious and had an absolutely gorgeous bathroom! It's also in a fantastic location where you are within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. If you can afford to splurge on a hotel in Vancouver, this is the one! We have also stayed at the other Fairmount hotel in town and there was no comparison. Definitely the Pacific Rim wins hands down!

Everyone who works at this hotel is over the top friendly and professional. We had a harbor view gold floor room. The gold floor has a glass wall that takes up the whole length of the room looking towards the harbor, and Stanley park. Sarah was so friendly and accommodating it made our visit so much more special. Her entire team was great. The lounge on the bottom floor is hip, modern, and super classy, with some of the best bartenders we've seen. Most of the time they have live music playing. Anytime we go to Canada we make time to stop by Vancouver, and stay at the Pacific Rim.

A premature review perhaps but ...

We are so excited about this hotel (so I could not wait for the end of our stay to write this!) Why? Even at first impression, it did not seem like just another big chain hotel. The service was so personable and warm; not just professionally courteous. However it is a big chain hotel, and perhaps, that is why we are so impressed! Built in 2010, all the finishings and furnishings are clean, fresh and contemporary. The room was large with 2 queen beds, bathroom bright and big. The hotel has a pool and a gym/spa, still to be explored. The lobby is big and inviting. Entertainment nightly (?) is a nice touch. It makes grabbing a bite at the Lobby Lounge really enjoyable. We really like this hotel so centrally and conveniently located!

We just stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim As a family of five. The setting is perfect. Central, beautiful view and silent. Our rooms were perfect, the gym was great and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very professional. A great place to stay whilst visiting Vancouver.
