We were so excited to stay st the boardwalk since we are Disney passholders and normally stay at a non Disney hotel right near Boardwalk Inn that is half the price. Since we got a good deal, we decided to stay at Boardwalk Inn and couldn't wait! We checked in at noon, and no rooms were available. When we asked if any rooms may be available soon, we were told no check out was at 11. We were not treated with the usual Disney friendliness! We got a text at 3:15, that the room was ready. We left the park and were back at hotel at 5. We went to front desk and unfortunately had the same desk clerk. We asked for a higher floor, and she made a call to find out. While on the call I could here her ask for 2 Queen beds and talk about the current Room had a king and day bed. She hung up and said there was nothing available. I then asked if our room had two beds, and she said no..it was a king and day bed. I said we requested two beds, but she said there was nothing else available. I asked why this happened and she said they ckikian't see who will be in the room when they assign them. I told her this was unacceptable twice and she walked away. We stood there for a few minutes, and i was telling my friend what happened so the front desk clerks heard me but noone else came over. Finally a lady came over to say it was being taken care of. The girl came back and gave us a new room with two beds. On our way to the room, the like fish, and we had to walk to the very other end of the hotel where our room was. So we checked in early and got a room at the farthest corner of the hotel.. and they only have one elevator near the lobby. The room was not better then our usual hotel which is half the price! Then on our last night we called front desk to ask for a late check out and were told no. I Asked for a manager and was told they will call me back. 20 minutes later no call back I called again and said I called 20 minutes ago when will the manager call me back. The girls that 25 minutes was good it usually takes an hour I told her this was the worst experience we've had at a hotel and she said Oh I'm so sorry. I had to get dressed and go downstairs wait in line at the front desk to tell them what happened. They Said well we can't give you one o'clock but we can give you 1230. When I said that this was a horrible experience with had at this hotel he said that he would go ahead and make it 1 pm. BTW a manage never called. When we checked out we did ask again for a manager and we told them what happen and all she could say was O I'm so sorry. This hotel is definitely not worth the money.

This past July we spent 5 nights on the Club Level of the Boardwalk Inn in a Deluxe Room. We had an amazing view of the Boardwalk, lake and the Yacht and Beach Club across the way. The service was, in my opinion, above and beyond other Disney hotels. We typically stay at the Club level at the Beach Club and it felt less crowded and the staff at the Boardwalk seemed more dedicated to creating a “magical” experience for the guests. The food (snacks and drinks) on the club level was excellent and similar to what I saw being served near the main pool. We only used the main pool once, it was crowded and the kids definitely preferred the slide and pool at Beach and Yacht across the lake. That said, we spent every day at one of the quiet pools which was a great location to recharge. The location was excellent and we could easily walk to Epcot and we did walk to Hollywood Studios one day, which was longer but manageable. One concern people may have about the Boardwalk is the noise level, but we had no issues with noise even though we were right above the Margarita stand :)

By far our favorite resort! Make sure you get a room with a balcony! The boats are so convenient and easy to use to get to Epcot and Hollywood studios. It is amazing because it has great restaurants down below and a wonderful general store. You can get everything you need for breakfasts and snacks. You won’t regret it!
