Attraction

If you look at it from the right angle, this geographical landmark does distinctly resemble the silhouette of a resting camel. The hike to the top doesn't take long, but it's steep and challenging. (Sturdy hiking or athletic shoes are a must.) The 360-degree panoramic view from the top is well worth the effort.

The well-travelled Echo Canyon Trail on the Paradise Valley side is a fun, boulder-strewn route with one particularly tricky section. It requires hikers to make use of metal railings bolted into the rock. Follow the lead of the locals powering up the trail as a part of their daily cardio routine and get an early start to beat the midday heat.
