A Fabulous 3. Star All Inclusive Hotel

Barbados Beach Club is a great 3 star hotel. I have read other reviews and feel annoyed when people visit a three star hotel and expect a five star. If you want a 5 star hotel go to the west coast and pay substantially more per night, and that will only be for bed and breakfast. For me, Barbados Beach Club stands in a stunning location right on the ocean front with far-reaching views. My room was on the sixth floor . The room was cleaned daily and had everything I wanted the large bed was very comfortable. There was a hairdryer kettle, ironing board iron and fridge complimentary bottled water daily I really enjoyed the food, always fish, meat and chicken on the menu and a vegetarian dish with salads, vegetables, rice, potato amongst many other items There is also an à la cart restaurant called The Reef, which you need to book and offers table service The entertainment is brilliant and there is something most nights Its a real added bonus as few hotels offer this much entertainment. There are numerous sunbeds and cushions. Plenty of seating both by the pool and on the beach. Parasols are available and kayaks and boards. They have a great team here and I will definitely return. Please don’t go if you’re expecting a five star hotel, this is a three star hotel which gives you great value for money on all-inclusive basis. I got chatting to several other guests and they have already stayed here before, so it’s clear barbados beach club has a huge following and great repeat business. There is a gift shop car hire and laundry service available I certainly will be returning.

Just got back from our first trip to Barbados, yes the hotel is tired, but if you can overlook this, you will be fine. The food is good and plentiful. Room was very comfortable. The beach is to die for, we had an amazing time, currently looking to book again
Our annual holiday to barbados

We have been to this hotel for the last few years and we have booked to come again next year, this is a 3 star hotel we love the friendly staff. We choose this hotel as it is close to every where we want to go, we know most of the staff on a first name basis and share more than a few laughs with them all. The food is great always a wide selection, and the ala carte restaurant is first class with a very friendly staff lead by Sanjean she has a wicked sense of humour.our time on the beach is made better with the help of Steven putting up your beach umbrella.

This hotel is NOTHING like the photo's! Not even close. It's not pink, the tennis court is covered in weeds, and it not even attached to the hotel. When I got there, I burst into tears. This was supposed to be my trip of a lifetime, my retirement treat but instead it looked like a 3rd rate dump in Spain. Paint peeling off the external walls and really run down. I do like to go into detail so I apologise if this is too long, but I would like to give you a complete picture. ROOM - We were made to wait for 2 hours without a drink as our room wasn't ready despite it arriving later than the given check in time. We were given room 110 but they didn't tell us where that was, so we spent a while looking around for it. It was down a cut off passage. The room was on the ground floor and the balcony opened onto the pool area. There was a large bush right in front of it so we did not have any kind of view. The room was ok, large with 2 x king sized beds. There was a private bathroom, but the toilet was so close to the wall that anyone of a large disposition would not be able to get a leg either side of it! It took at least 10 minutes to get any hot water through and the taps rattled when you switched them on full making one hell of a racket. The kettle and fridge were fine, but the cups were expresso size and too small. The only "cups" you could get a hold of were small paper ones which burnt your hands. The pillows were comfy but the bed cover was scratchy. GENERAL - The pool does not look like the picture. It is a concrete monstrosity with a rough floor that cuts your feet. It is 2 ft deep at one end and 20 ft deep at the other but is cut off by a rope in the middle, so people don't drown!!! The surround is all plain grey concrete. The attached bar area is ok, but I swear many of my cocktails never saw alcohol! They actually ran out of tonic on our second day and on the third day, ran out of glasses!! The one (and only) saving grace is the fact the beach is on your doorstep and despite the appalling hotel, you can't change the sea! It was a lovely stretch of white sand and turquoise water. BUT it was very rough and I would not recommend this for children at all. RESTAURANT / FOOD - This is subjective as everyone has different tastes and perhaps we were spoilt as we had just come from a Tui cruise ship where the food was out of this world. However, whilst it was edible it was hardly exceptional. Buffet style with a soup / salads, hot meats / fish but very little vegetables. Sweets were always cold cakes and with cold custard??? There was an a la carte restaurant although no-one told us about this and we found out from another guest. However, when we got there, it really wasn't worth it. I had steak and it was all gristle. If you have a bird phobia - DO NOT GO HERE!!!! There are dozens of birds and they come into the restaurant and take your food if unattended. It was like a scene out of Hitchcock’s "the birds"! SERVICE - If I got smiled at half a dozen times, I would be amazed. Desiree, the events manger was lovely and friendly, as was Gabriel the barman and one tall thin waitress who was always dancing! The rest were as miserable as sin and if you had to work there, you probably would be too. ENTERTAINMENT - Just the same thing day in, day out. I must have heard Bob Marley's entire repertoire! Actually, that is slightly unfair as there were a couple of good singers but all in all, just music whether by singer or DJ. All in all this was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to and I go on holiday at least a couple of times per year.
