My friend and I decided to go to Bermuda for a girls trip and had the pleasure of staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel and Beach club. From arrival through our very last day, we were delighted and felt incredibly welcomed thanks to the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Our most memorable encounters were with Sean - who checked us in. He was pleasant, informative, and funny. Each time we passed the front desk or happened to see him, he engaged with us, making us feel welcome again and at home. Wayne - who also worked at the front desk. We initially spoke with him to get some guidance on where to go and what to do on the island. He was open, engaging, and caring. Not only did he give advice about where to go, but he took into consideration who we were- cautioning my fiend appropriately about the bike trail she thought she wanted to pursue and also advising me against a few ideas that would have ben too rough given my pregnancy. He gave us ideas for local places to explore and was always warm Jose Luna and their Private Beach Drove us to and from the Club’s private beach. At first I was a bit bummed that we had to drive to get there (versus walking out to the beach) but once we got there - it was totally worth it! Chairs were perfectly laid out and everything you need for the beach was ready to go: chairs with umbrellas, cold water, towels, beach toys, clean restrooms. You could order food and drink very easily. And we even learned that they have a security camera system should something happen (and lockers - we didn’t feel the need to use them). The beach itself is large and very swimmable. They even have water hammocks - amazing! This is the best feature of the place other than the people. Jose Luna was wonderful. Pleasant, enthusiastic - he shared his own history and connection to Bermuda and pointed out key spots we might be interested in based on what we shared. After we met on the bus ride, he continued to pleasantly and helpfully engage with us during our stay - we were bummed that he happened to have a few days off when we ended up with another driver to the beach. Nothing wrong with the other driver, it’s just the Jose Luna is especially engaging and kind. The one downer - the food We were really hungry when we arrived and went to eat at the restaurant nearest the water. Food was okay - and was very over priced. We also had breakfast there one day and - same deal. We had much better food experiences in Hamilton and so I would recommend skipping eating at the hotel altogether and to go to one of the many excellent restaurants nearby.

Enjoyable stay in this hurricane-proof hotel. There was a bit of a mix up with our rooms which resulted in us having to move rooms shortly after arriving. The hotel staff managed this well. Then a hurricane was due so they put in place preparations to prevent damage. They communicated all this well so we knew what was happening. During the hurricane they kept us informed and moved everyone from the restaurants to the a basement meeting room where we were provided with drinks and food. It took a day to get the pool up and running again after the storm and the only slight criticism is that this might have been done a bit more quickly. The beach was out of action for a few days which was a shame. The pool was great when it was open with great views of the harbour. It was very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The food in the hotel was not cheap but it compared well with prices outside the hotel. Waiting staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Ram who was fantastic

We've now visited the pink palace each September for the past 3 years after coming here for our anniversary. We had another magical and perfect stay. No one can do enough for you, from Danny on the door to Audrey who brightened up our mornings everyday with her singing. The hotel did a brilliant job in looking after the guests during Hurricane Humberto and I'd like to pay testament to everyone for their hard work and dedication whilst not knowing if their own homes would be ok. We will definitely be back for another magical stay.

A wonderful holiday ! Starting with the warm, friendly welcome at Reception area, where staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, we knew that we were in good hands. The front desk staff set the pace for our visit, the Concierge gave us many suggestions for activities. Our room was spacious and well-prepared, we relaxed immediately after a tiring journey. We used the Fairmont Gold lounge where again the staff were so welcoming and professional; nothing was too much trouble for Dominic and the crew, George was constantly aware of what was needed and was always on the move. We enjoyed relaxing in the Hotel grounds, and around the pool, and again any staff we met always gave us a greeting of “Hello, how are you today?” We had a delicious meal in Marcus restaurant and were wonderfully looked after by Les and staff, we celebrated a family birthday and were serenaded by the team! Catlain, our server, could not have been more helpful. It was a truly memorable and relaxing holiday (despite Hurricane Humberto!!), from the warm welcome in Reception to the final farewell from the Doorman, we were made to feel valued guests. We will return!

The hotel was awesome, can’t beat the location The short shuttle ride to an nice beach with full facilities Our waiter Deen was the best. The food at the beach restaurant was better than average The beach is at a secluded area that doesn’t get deeper than 6’ in most areas Can’t wait to go back
