Great Views, lots of ocean and whales. Lots of pool selections, family pools, kids pool area and adult pool. Great views from pool area. Get to pools early as people take towels out to reserve lounges early (8:00 a.m.) Tough to find spot by 10:00. (Bad practice) Pool bar and food were great, Dont get in hurry as it is Maui time. Closeto Wailea ships and others foods. Not directly on beach, but a short walk, good relaxing area. Good boardwalk along all Wailea beach area. Marriots has changed its reward system, so check as you may not receive extra benifits (upgrades etc.) All in all it is a great place to stay with good service.

This was our second time at the Wailea Beach Resort and the adventure pool was new to us this time. The kids loved it and spent quite a few hours! The rooms are comfy and I'm a big fan of the beds in Marriott hotels - so comfy! I think our favorite place at the resort is right near the check in desk though - the koi pond and the swing chair. Its just so pretty over there with the big trees and my kids would have spent all day going back and forth from the swing to looking at the koi. They even got to help feed them when we happened to be there at the right time. Our last trip to Maui was actually during a strange cool spell so this was our first time actually going in the water near the resort. The waves were pretty rough, though they seemed calmer at different times of the day. My girls were not used to waves at all and have always been big chickens about them, but they finally learned the fun of body surfing on this trip and should be comfortable on any beach now! You definitely have to be careful when the waves are big though - we all got tossed down and hurt at least once!

Such an amazing facility. I attended this facility for 1 week at my companies presidents Club. Everything was outstanding from the food did drink the service you name it. The facilities were very clean and the luau that we attended was amazing. Ford Excursion we did a zipline in the rainforest which at first seemed pretty terrifying but it was really not. We also did a helicopter tour. I recommend doing these tours through a third-party facility.

This was one of the most beautiful oceanfront properties we have ever stayed at! We have visited Maui many times but never Wailea and we will be back! It was all so luxurious and well kept! There are pros and cons though. I'm more of a beach person when at the ocean but it was a bit farther to the beach at this hotel vs the pools so never used the beach sadly. The grounds are gorgeous, rocky scenery along the beach walk path, many areas to sit and watch the waves and whales! The 2 infinity edge pools are fabulous - - however it is quite difficult to get pool chairs at the adult pool. It took us until the 3rd morning to realize how early we had to go to get some. Often late in the afternoon we could find a couple chairs tho. The family infinity edge pool was nice with many seating options and we always could find a chair there as well as the waterslides kids pool. The cabana rentals at both pools are outrageously expensive and they do block the ocean views for others unfortunately. Even though I'm a Mom, I still say little kids and especially babies in diapers should NOT be allowed in the hot tub, yuck, really! We are Titanium Marriott members so it did get us free continental breakfast coupons but that's about it! It was super convenient to have a Starbucks on property, that's where our free continental breakfast coupons could be redeemed for a coffee, pastry & fruit cup "to go" each morning after a wait in a long line if you're not there super early!. The pool waitress service is fine, menu & service hours limited and drinks pricey. Our Garden suite was a very nice spacious room and we loved the extra closet space and extra half bath which aided in all getting ready. The walls are too thin, at least in our suite, and we could hear a crying baby at all hours - so frustrating and tiring on an expensive vacation! The workout room small but fine as was the game room. We loved the close proximity to Wailea Mall for more restaurants and luxury shopping - as the restaurant on site isn't that great for dinner and that's the only one besides the Kapa bar at pool.. We often walked to nearby resorts for dinner. The self parking deck was convenient, not too far of a walk, and of course $25 per night parking. My daughter loved the free pilates and ocean front yoga classes offered some mornings! We loved the use of the early arrival/late departure lounge/showers off lobby for guests to use to change - nice! We checked out after a few nights as planned & went to Kanapali Beach resort area but only for the weekend because we decided to leave up there and instead return to the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott property to finish out the last week of our vacation because we all loved it so much better. We hope to be back another year for our vacation!

My husband and I finally made it to Maui. We couldn’t have been happier with this choice. We had an end room that looked out over the ocean. I love that the concierge reached out to us a week prior to make sure our stay was comfortable. The pool areas had plenty of space and bars and restaurants were easily accessible. They also have a full service Starbucks and shopping for sundries within walking distance. Absolutely a great choice especially when we walked the beach and saw the others available. Pics below are from our balcony.
