Stayed in this fantastic hotel on our trip around Canada and we were not disappointed. Great position for all areas. Wonderfully clean rooms and communal areas and the staff were very friendly. Obviously being above the metro is a fantastic bonus. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in August 2019. For the pros of this hotel, I loved the location! It's right downtown and couldn't be closer to the train station. The rooms as well as the hotel in general have all been recently renovated very nicely. My room was impeccably clean. The cons of this hotel, I could not believe this hotel does not offer free wifi! I was so disappointed that in 2019 an expensive $400/night hotel would not provide me with free wifi. Huge disappointment! The room also comes with a small snack pantry which I was delighted to see until... once again I saw not only did you have to pay for the items, you had to pay an arm and a leg. $9.50 for a small bag of M&M's. I felt insulted for paying almost $900 for two nights in a basic room and still having to pay for wifi and a snack size package of chips! The room also has a mini fridge stocked with beer and wine. Unfortunately... It's only for the hotels drinks, they make it clear that you aren't allowed to put your own things in the fridge. If you want a fridge for your things, you have to pay extra. The elevators in this hotel also need some work. While what you can see has been renovated, the actual system itself is ancient. I have never had so much frustrations with elevators than at this hotel. For a building with 8 elevators, I have also never waited so long in my life for one. Once on the elevator, this elevator wouldn't stop at my floor. It just kept going to other floors above and below my floor, I finally had to get off and go on a different one, which also did the same thing for a while. Very unusual.

Good location in downtown Montreal. Check-in and out uneventful. Small standard rooms that had seenm better days. Reasonable concierge service. Adequate wi-fi. A good option if your business meeting is located there or around.

Lovely staff, rooms, toiletries and a quiet hotel. Lots of options for food with the deli shop and the restaurant also. Prime location here in montreal and also the added bonus of the john lennon exhibition in the reception area and the sneaky visit to the suite in floor 17, this was a fab hotel to stay in. I loved it!!

Comfortable stay in downtown Montreal if you don't plan to use the Pool/ Spa

This is one of the most well-located hotels in downtown Montreal. You can directly access Montreal Central station (and its shopping area/ food court) via an elevator from the hotel lobby. The Bonaventure STM station is also accessible via this route. The property is within walking distance of the Tourist Information Centre, from where all the daily coach tours depart. The family room with 2 Queen Beds was comfortable but a bit tight on space given the price point. Sadly, they don't provide direct elevator access to the pool/ spa from the guest room floors. You need to change elevators at the lobby level each way, which is simply not acceptable for a property that positions itself as a luxury destination (and charges you such!)
