I really enjoyed the property. It's big but doesn't feel overcrowded. The skyliner was a great experience and it was so convenient. The front desk was understaffed most of the time and there seemed to always be a line. At one point, my husband and I were waiting in line to ask a simple question and we noticed two supervisors behind the desk area chatting, laughing, and looking at their phones while clerks served guests in the line. One of them noticed that I was watching her and she finally stepped out to the line to ask what I needed. She was very short with her answer and almost rude. Other than that experience, everyone was friendly.

While CB was a nice room, honestly I didn’t think it was any better than Pop Century but it cost a LOT more. The beds were pretty comfy and it was a good size room but the shower area was teeny-tiny. The food was as expected in the food court, there wasn’t a lot of choices available. It seems like the value resorts have more options. They have the Coke machines to get the different flavor soda, which was very nice. The pool was nice but the water was VERY cold. The hot tub was nice, but it’s tiny and was always full. The bar was nice, the service was excellent. Going to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on the Skyliner was fabulous! 5 min to HS and 13 to EPCOT. The Skyliner station is about a 10 minute walk from the main lobby. My main problem with this hotel was that it’s very large and there are about 6-7 bus stops along the way. Every bus stops at each stop so if you are near the lobby (we were in the Martinique area) it will take some time to get to the parks. The day we went to MK it took about an hour between waiting for the bus and then the bus looping around. There is an internal shuttle that goes to the various stops but like every resort bus you can potentially wait awhile for it. Overall I expected it to be more of an upgrade over the value resorts.

We have two autistic daughters, we did a lot of research before deciding on which Disney resort to stay at! We chose Disney’s Caribbean beach because we liked the idea of the sky-liner and having areas to retreat to if things got a bit too much. Before we arrived I contacted Disney to request a upper floor room due to our daughters sensory issues and was advised it would be added to our booking but not guaranteed. Now when we arrived, we didn’t receive the usual warm welcome we’d expect from the front desk, however the lady did call to change our room as we’d been allocated a bottom floor room! So we are grateful for that. However the room was in Aruba which is a good area away from the main lobby but close to the new hotel Riviera resort next to the sky-liner. Not a problem for us as we enjoyed walking the 10 minute walk back to the main lobby to get food and use the main pool. The staff in the food market went above and beyond, credit were credit is due! Christian in the food quarter was talking to us and when he discovered it was our daughters birthdays whilst we were there got us some birthday cakes and made it extra special for our girls. Dan and Sherri everyday went above and beyond making sure the Allergy menu was sorted and we got exactly what we needed! These staff members were outstanding and all credit to them for making our holiday better. Now I don’t like to be negative BUT during our stay we had a leaking shower, the air conditioning unit didn’t work and more upsetting we had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I called to report the cockroaches I was disappointed with the response and was advised that they are fully booked but will try to arrange a room switch. We packed up our bags and waited, no one at this point had been able to use the bathroom or wash because my youngest daughter is petrified of any bugs or creepy crawlies. We were that fed up, we went to the lobby and waited there as my daughter couldn’t cope in the room. I queued up to wait to speak to the front desk and finally got to speak to someone who said he would find out what was happening, he didn’t want to interfere with what his peer had been doing. I appreciate that but we had lost half a day at a park by this stage and still had not been able to wash or change clothes etc etc. We finally got told we would have a new room and our luggage would be brought to the new room, great!! We were also advised that due to the stress a night would be refunded to us due to the stress. Now cockroaches are not what I expect at a moderate Disney resort, and how expensive our 16 day holiday cost, a night refund is the least that could be done! However on checkout day we realised we had not had a refund! When I questioned this with the front desk, they asked who I’d dealt with, I have no idea of his name but there was a few notes on our account. We had a small charge on our magic band account that we had linked to our credit card, this was waived however, now we are back home in England we have realised this is less than the cost of one night and doesn’t even cover the day lost from being unable to get to the theme park due to this stressful time and room switch. Rather annoyed that this has happened and due to this we won’t stay at this resort again.

Skyliner makes this hotel the best!

Having access to two Skyliner stations was the reason I booked this hotel. It made the trip! Our first day in the parks, we were able to come back to the hotel and take a nap, switch shoes and get rid of our coats. The Skyliner was quiet, comfortable and an awesome ride. The lines were short except for park closing time, but even then the lines moved so quickly that we beat the buses back. With the buses you usually have to stand for the ride but never on the Skyliner. I loved that we could opt out of room services and received a Disney gift card. The room was great, beds comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The only downfall is that the resort is very spread out so we had to do some walking to get to restaurant and the lobby.

This was a vey large resort that actually has a bus to travel around the resort .well themed and perfect for kids . We had 2 kids age 9 and 13 and stayed in the standard room with 5 th sleeper % kids enjoyed having their own bead and the room size was nice . The only down side is the main pool closed early so we were not able to enjoy it after park day . Food was great and felt like were were in the Caribbean .
