Platinum elite member here - joined the elite line to check in (serviced by one person at check in time) and ended up waiting more than double the time than folks in the regular line. I was told they upgraded me but my room was on the 3rd floor (same as reception) far away from the lobby with a small balcony. Hallway carpets are DISGUSTING and make it look like there was flooding or sewage on them at one point. Valet parking did not accept calls on Sunday morning to retrieve cars so there was a long wait to get car to check out. Nice location, stunningly bad service. They even ask for feedback while you are there via text and when you tell them you are unhappy, they say "Thanks for the feedback." So many poor reviews on here and so many complaints from Marriott elites - you think Bonvoy would notice but it's pretty clear they just don't care.

    Do you love the 1990's?

Stayed 3 nights as part of a Disney trip. Best feature of the hotel: quick and easy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Short walk to EPCOT, you can walk to Hollywood Studios but free boat ride is faster and easier. Bus transport to other Disney sites is simple too. Very busy convention hotel. Lobby was full of convention bros drinking and talking at a deafening volume at least a couple of nights during our stay. Restaurants we tried were very good, and hotel staff was average, no effort to make you feel valued or special in any way. Biggest downside for me was the rooms; they are desperately in need of a makeover. Decorated straight out of the 1990's, it also seems like they've not been renovated since the hotel opened. Bottom line: if your priority is easy access to parks, this is a good choice. If you're looking for a luxury Disney experience, look elsewhere.

Stayed at this property from Feb 6-9 2020. Went with my adult son and his girlfriend for her birthday. They traveled all the way from Oregon. We checked in at approximately 5pm on Feb 6th. They dropped off their luggage in the room after putting them on luggage racks (something we always do..) and immediately headed to the parks. I was to meet them there after unpacking and getting situated. About an hour and a half later I was turning down my bed and discovered a live bed bug crawling around on my sheets. To say I was aghast, is an understatement. I immediately called the front desk for them to address the situation. It took many calls from me repeatedly to the front desk for them to send someone to my room. Finally a very nice girl that said she was head of house keeping came to the room and yes, she saw what I saw. She scooped it up and put it in a plastic cup. For those of you that are aware of bed bugs, where there is one, there are more. She agreed that we needed to be moved from the room and would find us another room. Meanwhile I had just spent an hour and a half unpacking and getting situated, and now I had to pack everything back up and move to another room. I told her that I was unable to move all of my party's belongings and that I would need help. At 7:40pm she sent several people up to help me with my room. Upon arriving to the new room (1046) we proceeded to inspect the room thoroughly for any sign of bed bugs. We did not see any. At that time, she agreed to comp me a one night room stay and breakfast for three the following morning. Needless to say by the time I unpacked everything for the second time, it was too late to meet my kids at the park and also too late to meet them for dinner. One day lost. So, over the last several days, I continued to go to the front dest to make sure that these credits were being honored. There seems to have been a lack of communication or incompetence of acknowledging the situation as I was still dealing with it the morning of our check out. Again more time spent or should I say lost. They told me to go to the parks and that they would hold my luggage and that when I returned in the afternoon that it should be resolved. Well, it was. I had previously stayed at the hotel 2 different times when my son was very young (17 years or so ago) hence the reason for our return on this trip. The bathrooms need some updating for certain. Overall, it is a very nice hotel and the service and staff are very good and friendly.

Wonderful stay. Staff was incredibly accommodating (secured 3 adjoining rooms for our family- full party of 6 adults, 2 children), rooms were comfortable and clean, the location was IDEAL (to get to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or the Boardwalk we had the option of WALKING or taking a quick ferry.. and buses to Magic and Animal Kingdom were available every 20 minutes from the front lobby), pool was huge (mix of kiddie and adult pools- so fun for all!). Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here on the 13th floor, twin King beds, linens towels and beds plush and luxurious, mattress completely out of this world.. Location is between epcot and and film studios so a short boat ride to either. Brilliant to watch the evening shows and be back in bed within 35 minutes.. Disneys boardwalk is a short walk with artists / funnel cakes and family bikes for hire. A truelly magical hotel in a truelly magical setting.. Don't hesitate to book if in budget.. But makes sense to be visiting Disney as a main destination.. As on the doorstep of two parks..
