I truly enjoyed my stay here! I’ve loved all that the hotel had to offer, all the bars and restaurants. I especially liked Ever at Bowling Bar, with Nataly, who made the best martinis! Thank you to everyone who made my stay special!
Do not stay at this resort and waste your money

This is by far the WORST resort I have ever visited. I was a guest for one week and the entire week was filled with issues - we didn’t get the room we paid SO much money for and had to change rooms THREE times due to finding dead cockroaches, the toilets not working and over flooding, getting NO hot water, and then having disgusting yellow/brown water coming out of the faucet for 3 hours!!! I genuinely think that I would have had a better room and experience at Days Inn or Best Western. Seriously. On top of the disgusting and dysfunctional rooms, there is construction going on through the ENTIRE property. So get ready to wake up to construction work at 6am EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Oh, and if you want to get around the property, I would carve out at LEAST 1.5 hours because it takes 30 minutes to find a shuttle (you’ll be lucky if there’s any room on it. HA to pandemic safety), and then it will take a whole hour to get around because of the construction closures. The poor drivers drive around in circles until there is a road that opens. I usually don’t write reviews for places because I think that issues can happen with any business. But when you pay thousands of dollars for a room, you expect BASIC amenities. When we noticed the issues like roaches and toilets not working, it took 20 minutes waiting on hold to call the front desk to speak to anyone. And then good luck getting anything resolved. This place has the WORST customer service I have ever EVER seen. They could care less about your stay and experience once they have your money. It is a total scam. Don’t waste your money, your family’s precious time staying at this hotel. Punta Cana has so many other resorts that might be smaller but will actually care about you. When my dad tried to approach the front desk about these issues, they threatened to escort him ouut of the hotel and literally, physically stopped him and warned him not to talk to other guests. Save yourself the hassle, the headache, the money. Stay somewhere else.
Finally - the Vacation after 14 months of hibernation

If you have read any previous reviews of hard rock Punta Cana by me, you know Im a big fan of HRPC. Of course many things have changed post covid. The self serve buffets we loved are gone. There are less guests( not a bad thing for us) and there are numerous renovations underway. The food and choices are still good and numerous. Although yhe serving seems rushed somewhat especially at the marketplace. Spa was great. Although I would not advise booking online ahead of time because apparently you can not use resort credits then. There was confusion about this during my stay. The covid precautions were everywhere. And we never saw any employee without a mask. We were provided free covid testing on departure per US requirements. I have to say though, I think their real claim to fame is in the service. All staff is friendly and accommodating. We are members (disclaimer) and that may be a part of the excellent treatment. We had a butler, ELVIDO, who was amazing! He appeared out of no where every couple of hours to check on out needs. We texted him for everything from restaurant reservations to reserved pool seating. One evening we had a problem w water on our balcony and he was knocking on the door within 60 seconds. This resort is huge so that’s remarkable. Gotta like walking or rent a golf cart. Already looking forward to next trip!

Worst vacation of my life with my family. 1. Grandaughter 13 - nothing to do except pay for things, Escape Room $40 a person, Laser Tag $20 a person, cannot even use slide too tall. 2. Food -- Mediocre 3. Not enough English speaking help 4. TOO FAR evrything, TOO BIG 5. Buffet - not enough help, long lines, did not understand what you wanted. 6. Not enough servers at beach 7. Lack of variety of food at pool unless you wanted to walk and walk from pool to pool. Long lines 8. Entertainment - Fair

We were not happy at all with this resort. Here are the reasons. 1. TOO BIG 2. Not enough help 3. Not enough English spoken, very few. 4. Food mediocre at best, buffets the worst. Not enough people serving (long lines) signs telling you the food too small to read from afar,.. and ENGLISH not the language. 5. TRAMS to go to beach/pool/theatre just about everyone. 6. 30 minutes if you forget something and have to go to room. 7. Nothing for teenagers to do, Escape room $40 a person, Laser Tag $20 a game per person, nothing free for Teenagers. NOTHING. 8. Pool area nothing except for little kids, cannot even use slides. 9. Beach too many vendors selling, not enough servers, had to go a mile to get a drink. 10. Food lines at pool ridiculous, over 30 min to get a burger or nachos. Very poor selection. 11. Not relaxing at all.
