Great Stay, bad aftertaste

Totally satisfied with accomodation, food, beach and hospitality. Helpful and friendly people. Reception sometimes a bit undermanned, though. Drawback: They try quite agressivly to sell a membership program which might not be illegal but stinks. They offer unrealistic high discounts, refuse to give away a documentation and want a commitment immediately. All ingredients of a scam!

Despite the pandemic. We found a great place for a great deal. The food and staff were excellent. The evening animation staff went beyond to provide different entertainment nightly from music, trivia, dancing and circus show which was amazing.

The Iberostar in Punta Cana offers a lot of facilities, restaurants, a beautiful beach and nice and clean apartments. We were here for 10 days as a family with a 6-months-old baby and the stuff of the hotel made this holidays unforgettable. A special thank you to Natividad from the reception, who helped us with anything we asked for! Thank you to Evelin from the housekeeping, who did not only clean, but also decorate our apartment tenderly. Thanks to Arkeny in the service to provide us with anything we needed any time of the day. And also thank you to Artelis from the partisserie. I love the delicious desserts and the small talks with her during lunch. We will come back!
Family trip

First I will start with the terrible. the second day we were there a family we were traveling with had their in room safe broke in to and money stolen. The nice part was the hotel did give them some resort credit. Now the good. We had first visited this resort in 2005 and not much has changed. This is the only resort in the complex that is open. The swim up pool bar is not open. Breakfast buffet is not good, watery eggs and the pancakes, waffles are all cold since they don't sit in a warming tray. Lunch is good. pork chops are excelllent. Dinner buffet is good, much better than the other 2 buffets. ala cart restaurants, The Mexican is good food. Steak restaurant is excellent. probably the best steak ever had at a hotel in the DR. Italian Restaurant is very good, the lasagna is very good. The Gourmet restaurant is not so great. limited menu and food was just so-so. all the restaurants want you to buy a over priced bottle of wine. The staff was outstanding through out the resort, this includes Domingo at the buffet, Virginia at the lobby bar who we had a great time with Franklin and Cesarin at the beach bar, along with Rainer the waiter near the pool. must also mention Vanessa and Cecelia in guest relations who did a outstanding job arranging the a la cartes. And a special birthday party for our son in law at the buffet when once again Domingo was outstanding. Also want to thank Disney for his help. COVID protocols were followed by all. All staff wore masks.

Great hotel experience I will never forget I love the food an service very good with assisted Carlos and Jose Miguel ,room very beautiful beach excellent , reception is very good and guest service!!!!!!
