    The Beach was amazing , crystal clear and beautiful. The customer service & staff was explendid. The Staff was amazing & they were very friendly and amicable . The food was very tasty and had variety everyday . The room was super nice, included a mini bar & the bed was super confortable. The night show was AMAZING, they had a Horror show & the staff was very professional . The team of animation & sports was very friendly & welcoming . During my stay , Chris & Aldo always came along to check on us and were very friendly and hospitable.

    I stayed five nights at Iberostar Quetzal. I actually booked my reservation at Iberostar Tucan via the Iberostar website. When I arrived, I was surprised to find I was staying at the Iberostar Quetzal. I had purposely booked the Tucan because it had better reviews, and I paid a higher price to do so. My conformation even says the Tucan. The Quetzal room was a big disappointment. I had book a Jr Suite. The room was not a suite of any kind. The upholstery was off and coming off the coaches. There was no air-conditioning to speak of. The TV was from 15 years ago. The room needs a total update. The Quetzal food was much better than a lot of the all-inclusive hotels at the same price leave. The service is very good. The beach is excellent. The shows are good. I could have quickly overlooked the dreadful room and said I have a good stay if it were not for the check-out. It took me well over an hour to check out of the hotel. When it came time to pay, I presented a credit card. Then, for the first time, I was told they were not taking credit cards. They said they could send me a link, and I could pay via the link on my own device. It took about half an hour for the email with the link to arrive. When I attempted to pay, the link did not work. They told me that I could get cash out of the ATM and use that to pay. The ATM had a $25.00 fee per use and gave out only American currency. To add injury to insult, the hotel gave an appalling exchange rate. This would have been avoided if the hotel had just told me that they were not taking credit cards at the start of my stay. They literally would not let me leave until I paid. I almost missed my flight. Based on the lack of updating and the inability to take credit cards, I think bankruptcy may be in the air. Be careful when paying in advance.

    Trip with friends was great all things considered (covid/hurricane). Our friend Alex (Shakiro) and Aldo were wonderful. We really loved the kareoke night, Mexican night and more! We want to back here soon kisses..

    Great place to stay. Wonderful food an entertainment. Specifically Yomira from entertainment team. I have been here several times along other Ibrrostal locations. Highly recommend. Will came again for vacation.

    When I got to the hotel after the hurricane, I didn't want to go in ... the situation was not very encouraging. But once arriving at the Front Desk, a smile and a welcome as spectacular as Alan's attention at reception, they were enough to make me feel welcome. The food was perfect, the entertainment team is a bit repetitive but fun, the room clean and in a good place ... See you in December. Thank you all.
