Sorry this long but a review like this would have helped us. Hotel This adult only hotel is lovely with beautiful gardens, two small beaches, a large pool, a restaurant a bar and a large reception area, which are all kept clean and tidy. The hotel is quite isolated, so you would need a car to get about and see the beautiful Antigua. Taxis are expensive. We hired a car for the full two weeks and would highly recommend. Rooms We had a garden view room, which was perfect. The rooms are spacious with a large bed and en-suite toilet and shower. The shower temperature can be temperamental but with a bit of fiddling you can have decent shower. No bath was one complaint I read, who needs a bath on holiday? There is only one drawer, but there is shelving and hangers for clothing. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. No complaints at all. Gardens The beautiful gardens are regularly maintained. There are many visitors to the gardens: pretty birds, lizards, tree frogs and crickets. During the day you can hear the birds and at night you can hear the tree frogs and crickets a lovely sound which I miss now I am home. Pool and beaches The pool is large and ideal, not heated except via natural sun and air temperature. It is not cold. There are plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and areas to shelter from the sun, if you wish to and it is a short distance to the bar and restaurant. There are two small beaches, they are disappointing. There is a lot of seaweed in both and some rock patches in the furthest beach. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The beaches are very well maintained by the ground staff. Ok for the odd afternoon but we preferred travelling to other beaches. Staff On the whole the staff are lovely, friendly and smiling. There are one or two staff who seem quite grumpy and difficult to engage. Reception staff are lovely, always dressed smartly and will help with any issues. The manager Rosanna is brilliant and sorted out a big issue for us without hesitation. Bar staff are great just one lady who does not smile much and does not engage well. Waitresses again a couple who are difficult to engage and don’t smile much. Debbie, Laura and another lady whose name I did not get were amazing and so happy. We did feel that we had to actively work hard to engage some staff. If you are Italian you will have no problem with any of the staff and that needs to be addressed, all guests should be treated equally. The ground staff and cleaners are all really friendly and happy, there is always a good morning Sir/ Mam. All staff without exception work really hard and it is obvious they all get on well with each other. Restaurant and Bar There are two restaurants. All inclusive buffet and a la carte. A la carte is NOT included in all inclusive and you have to pay extra. We had both. Buffet This is laid out fresh for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unless you are fussy or greedy there is plenty of choice for all three meals. Breakfast: you can have a choice of croissants and pastries, porridge or cereal, fresh fruit, ham and cheese, yoghurt or chef will cook poached eggs and omelettes to order. You can eat as much as you like and you can take stuff away to eat as you please. Lunch: daily choices of breads, soup of the day, salad, seasonal vegetables, different pasta salads, fish, chicken, pork, chips and home made crisps and daily pasta specials cooked to order. Again eat as much as you like. If you are out for the day place your order the day before and a lunch box is provided. Selection of deserts, however no cheese and biscuits. Dinner: they have daily specials. Such as Caribbean night, BBQ night, show night etc... again the same selections as lunch and the specials cooked to order there is so much to choose from. There is very little red meat except home made burgers on BBQ night and lasagne or mince with pasta specials. So if burgers are your staple diet or preferred food you will be disappointed. A la carte Open only for lunch and dinner I believe. We ate there 3 times for dinner. The menu choice we felt was limited to our taste, but everyone is different. The Lobster was over cooked and chewy, the veg with it was ok. The Tuna again was over cooked we asked for medium rare it was well cooked. The chicken was fine. On the whole the food is lovely, but everything is generally over salted. We preferred the buffet. Bar There is one bar, which is ample and service is excellent. Music is played all day and evening, it is not loud so you can easily chat and have a conversation. Once a week is DJ night. This done by the Italian rep and unless you like Latino style music it is not good. Twice a week they have an excellent band (Thursdays and Sunday’s). They were brilliant. Spirited band is their name if you want to you tube them Our only complaint is that there are not enough Caribbean options. This hotel is quiet and relaxing, we had a wonderful two weeks in this amazing paradise and we will be coming back. Thank you! We did a couple of excursions: Stingray city is a must the Stingrays are amazing. Loved it and will do it next time. Boat trip on catamaran. It was ok but very commercialised. The Antiguans are so friendly and welcoming we had an amazing time.

Travelled with West Jet Vacations. Flight was uneventful and on time. The transfer arranged by Ocean Point was very easy and only about 12 minutes from the airport. The check in was also easy and quick. There is a small gift store in the lobby and all prices are reasonable. Our room was comfortable and clean. We didn’t care if the decor was outdated. They had champagne and cookies on the desk with local flowers for my husbands birthday. A lovely touch. This resort is easy to navigate. There are steps to get around so be mindful of that if you have mobility issues. The gardens are beautiful and give the resort a quaint touch. The pool is large and refreshing. We used the large gazebo often to get away from the sun and just chill. Saw many people napping there. Towel service ends up help yourself service. Now for the beaches. Beach 1 no one swims because of the seaweed beds. It wraps around your legs and is just nasty. Beach 2 better for swimming but you have to watch out for the boats going in and out picking up tour passengers. Snorkeling at either of these beaches is nonexistent. You can’t see anything because the sand is always stirred up. Sad. Booze is house red or white wine. They have a drink list that is for all inclusive customers. Anything not on the list you have to pay extra for. Now for the food... other reviews have been that the food is top notch. Several nights I went to bed hungry. They say fresh pasta to me that means home made but that is not the case. The first day I went to the chef and told him of my food allergies and he said he would meet with me in the morning to make sure I was safe. That never happened. There is only one meat selection per meal and that selection is 90% pork with two days of curried chicken. Cutting up chicken, cooking it to death and putting a sauce on it doesn’t mean it’s good. As the week went on I ate less and less. Also they use way too much salt...on everything. If you are a vegetarian or vegan you will probably like this resort and it’s food. My rating on the food would be a low 2. Pastries in the morning were good, cakes were horrible, cheese cake good. Staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. Most of the people who stay at this resort are from Italy, England or Canada. Do they cater to the Italians, absolutely. Make sure you have tip money at the bar or you may be over looked like I was. Nice... Tours... we went to Prickly Pear for 3 hours and had a great time. Shout out to Sean and crew. It costs $50.00 u.s. much better beach and some small fishes to see. We took a taxi to St. John’s $30.00 u.s return. Try to figure out when the ships are not in port. Antigua is a duty free port and most vendors sell the usual tourist trinkets. There is virtually no entertainment at this resort. No loud music at the pool or bar. Makes for a peaceful vacation. Overall if you are looking for an adults only resort for some rest and relaxation you might like this. We will not be returning.

Just got home from a must say a very relaxing holiday room 303 had a lovely view spacious and very clean pool area bar and restaurant. Only one bar but is end of season so no wait. Vincent very helpful and Laura Debbie and Dizzy always had a lovely smile in the restaurant. Run by Italians and they tend to favour these guests nobody was snubbed but did not feel all treated the same. My only real negative to this hotel was the cats which roam freely and poo on the beach not nice at all and the owner had a dog which is allowed in the restaurant their place so up to them but staff stroking it and then handling food and plates etc not good.

We stayed at this resort for a few days before our sailing trip. Upon arrival we decided to sign up for the all inclusive package. The hotel was very nice, clean, & the staff was friendly. There is just one restaurant & 1 bar, but we never had to wait long for service. They are located on the water, so it was nice to always have a great view. Food on the buffet was very fresh with a nice variety of options for each meal. The band on Sunday night was good & quite a few folks were dancing. Overall highly recommended!

Loved this hotel. The food, service and facilities are great. Its a small hotel so you get to chat to lots of other guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went all inclusive. Have to say the buffet is the best we have had. The daily pasta specials are gorgeous! Not very good for snorkelling and hotel is really remote so you need to take a taxi everywhere. Best beaches - try Dickenson Bay or the hotel does a 2 beach package which is fab visiting different beaches. Rooms are lovely but the showers need attention. Its either freezing or boiling! The pool and beaches are lovely. Will return again.
