    Arriving in Bridgetown on a public holiday meant we were struggling to find an open restaurant to eat so we walked up to the Hilton. The hotel itself is right on the beach with lovely views of palm trees and sand as you eat your meal on the restaurant balcony. I ordered a traditional bajan seafood bouillabaisse stew which was nice but there wasn't that much seafood in it and then you were left with the soupy stew but no bread or spoon to mop it up with. Due to still being hungry I finished my meal with a traditional bajan bread pudding which was again nice but on the small size. I often find with places like this the more you pay the bigger the plate but the smaller the portion. It also took a while to catch the attention of the waiting staff for drinks and the bill etc.

    Soo where do I start. This hotel is so not a good representation of the Hilton brand that I know. Upon arrival we were not greeted no rum punch nothing on almost every island I visit they gave welcome drinks I mean they even had this at raddison down the road. Anyway not enough staff working the front desk had 2 ppl working during a very busy time. The cafe had 2 workers but one went on break and one locked up to use the bathroom during busy morning coffee time for most. The food was gross room service breakfast was so bad 3 of us got sick. The pool bar had so many flies you could barely enjoy the food or drinks. And they are super slow. The worse part of this is we saw rats 2 evenings in a row at the pool when we went down for a evening swim. I’m assuming this has to do with the fact that the food from customers was still sitting around the pool why? Because they don’t have enough staff. I heard others complaining and ask for a manger and she was told she had to make an appointment so I took my complaint to Twitter In all unless you love rats and flies don’t stay here hilton needs to shut this hotel down and clean up all around including staff this boils down to poor management

    Here on business. Room 509. Smelled really bad walking in, I should have switched rooms immediately, but thought I would get used to it. I didnt, this room is flat out full of mold somewhere in the walls, AC or mattress. Woke up at 3am with my sinuses on fire and a headache, the smell was overpowering. Opened the patio, and got some fresh air, left the door open for the rest of the night. Didn't sleep well after that, but at least the the smell dissipated enough to fall asleep. This is an older property. Its simply not a Hilton level property anymore. Back in its heyday it was very nice I bet, but shouldn't be part of the Hilton portfolio anymore. That all being said, the staff were for the most part, very friendly, food was good (but pricey) and the pool bar made one of the best rum punches I have ever had. The views were nice, great access to beaches, and if you want to grab some local food, its a quick walk down the street (highly recommended, and much cheaper).

    This is a gorgeous hotel with full access to the beach and lovely pool amenities. The spa is also a great chance to relax while staying at the hotel. I appreciated the fact that my room had both a tub and a shower. Ensure you get a room with a beach front view, you would not be disappointed.

    Hotel is located on a beautiful beach. The staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are clean. The only negative was the food but the hotel is located close to excellent restaurants and St Lawrence Gap
