Amazing stay at Gran Muthu Rainbow

My same sex partner and I visited Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel in February 2020. We had an amazing stay. The place is super clean. The food is good... for Cuba. But most importantly, the staff is super gay friendly and trying hard to appeal to a clientele to which they are not used to. This is commendable, and should be rewarded. BUT... since I have seen Air Canada and Gran Muthu Rainbow partnering in an event to be held in early January 2021, I lost a lot of respect for that resort. I don’t have an issue with making a profit by creating a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ community. But when business opportunity turns into greed, I have a problem. As I mentioned, I loved my stay in 2020, but now is not the time to jeopardize the health of the very target clientele you’re after. You better rethink your deal with Air Canada Vacations and those irresponsible Toronto drag queens who are part of that. Just for information, Toronto is responsible for a very large portion of COVID infections in Canada... bugger off... this advertising campaign is not responsible from a public health perpective. Shame on you and on Air Canada.

A very unexpected vacation. Everything was first class; the the friendly waiters and waitresses (well trained), bar staff, accommodation, food, entertainment and the social co-ordinators, Kitty and Ritchie. Can't wait to go back someday.

We were at Rainbow during Valentines week. Beautiful resort, just over 200 guests. Suites are beautiful. Food was exceptional, lots of seafood, variety and lovely presentations. Staff were excellent. My new iPad charger broke and a sweet lady at reception brought in her personal charger as a loan ... so kind. Lots of activities, Cuba day, beach party, the amazing Valentines events. A perfect week.

I have been to Cuba (Cayo-Coco) over 20 times, but this was my first time in a five star Hotel and I'm so happy I chose the Gran Muthu Rainbow Cayo Guillermo, it is the nicest hotel I've been to so far in Cuba. My room was amazing, very nice decor and very very clean. The food was amazing, best I've eaten in all of my trips to Cuba and the service was exceptional. Everyone was wonderful, always smiling and happy! And then there was Alex, who made the best coffee and drinks ever. He was just a joy to see, friendly, always smiling, eager to serve and always makes sure you are happy. Thank you Alex for making my stay a memorable one! I come from Montreal and he speaks French and English as well as I do, next time I go, I will teach him some Italian, lol... I mostly go to Cuba for the beach and I was not dissappinted, just beautiful. The pool and entertainment were also great! All and all, my best vacation yet. I can't wait to be able to travel again so I can go back to this wonderful hotel. I hope to see you soon.

I loved every second of my trip with Grand Muthu Rainbow in Cayo Guillermo. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. I have to give them a 5 out of 5 star rating! Beaches were also the best I have ever seen!! Please visit Grand Muthu Rainbow everyone !!
