As usual, we had a great time at the Hotel. If you are looking for 5*, you are going to the wrong place. If you want a 3.5* WITH THE BEST STAFF EVER, this is for you !!!! They staff go over and above from groundskeepers, room ladies, restaurant or bar staff. If you accept their Cuban hospitality you will love it. We have been 3 times in 15 months with this trip including my 1 yr old grand daughter. As soon as I can go again I will be back to see everyone.

The best place I have been to. Tryp made my grad trip one to remember, all my friends and I had such fun there and I definitely would go again if I had to choice. Great staff, especially the bartender Niurys(we loved her), great activities to do during the day and night, amazing pool side and beachside view. Overall we had a blast at Tryp

This was my 2nd time staying at Tryp Cayo Coco, this time returning with 30 of my close friends and family for my wedding. Most rooms were renovated, they are so nice, bright, simple and VERY CLEAN. We were in block 6 (others were in 5) and the views from all of our rooms were amazing. Food at this resort is EXCELLENT, whether you are dining at the buffet, at one of the a la Carte restaurants or grabbing a quick bite at the snack bar. I have been to other resorts in Cuba in Varadero and Holguin but the food and the beaches do not even compare to Tryp Cayo Coco. There is definitely a feel to being at Tryp that I cannot quite describe but it is undoubtedly due to the amazing staff. The management/customer service, wedding planner, waitstaff, bartenders, gardeners, housekeeping, entertainment .... everyone makes you feel like family by the time you leave. Even the other guests at this resort just felt like old friends. I was traveling with my 2 year old and I was overwhelmed with the kindness everyone showed my son. There was not a lot of children at the time that I was there but it is definitely a child- friendly resort. Whether we were at the pool, enjoying the beautiful beach or walking the grounds we always felt very safe. There is a great little market for souvenirs just a short walk away and a great spot called Lenny’s to go to for a drink oceanside or fantastic lobster lunch just a short cab ride away.... that is if you really even feel a need to leave the resort. If you or someone you know are thinking of planning a destination wedding definitely consider having it here. From the early planning stages to the wedding day itself communication was great and literally stress free and our wedding was everything that we had planned for and more. We were also provided with a great hairdresser and photographer for our day. It was truly such a special day for us....one that we will never forget. From the moment of check in to the time of check out our whole group truly had a fantastic time (and that is not always easy to say for such a large group) Most are already planning their next trip back. Tryp Cayo Coco is a little pocket of goodness. Sending out a huge thank you to all of the staff that work so hard to make it that way. We are counting the days until we can return.... and if you are trying to decide....GO!! You will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful resort located right on the beach. Fresh food, clean room and friendly staff. Steve Ortiz is the BEST! My friend and I had an amazing time. Would definitely go back to this resort in the future. A and S

This was our tenth trip to Cuba and knew what to expect, and after leaving almost a meter of snow, anyplace warm was appreciated. This resort must have been badly hit by hurricane a few years ago and not everything has been rebuilt. The beach has been re-sanded and is excellent and huge, although there is far more shell pieces in the new sand. We have been to other resorts since the hurricane and they seem to be quicker at re-building. The web photos, with the exception of the pool and general accommodation buildings, are not at all accurate. There is no beach grill/bar building and the main lobby bar is not very welcoming (don't believe web pics). It was not a very busy week, and I do not know how they would handle a larger crowd. The walkways are quite rough in many sections and patchwork is uneven, so not good if you have a walking aid, and always wear sandals! The pool bar was excellent ( kudos Santiago!), and the temporary hut for the beach bar was very limited, but staff did everything to make it work. Dining staff in the buffet were extremely welcoming as were those in the a-la-carte restaurants. Food quality was typical of Cuba with a nicer variety than some other 4-star resorts. Rooms (we had two) were okay, very clean, but some minor operational issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thanks to decent weather, beautiful beach and kind staff.
