    Hotel is super dirty. They hosted kids olympics and the kids were super loud. The staff was not helpful and took forever for food, drinks, etc. rooms are very dirty. Beach area has fake sand and crappy enclosed water space. Very cheap like place to stay. Not what you expect when you travel to the grand Cayman Islands

    Stayed at this hotel with my family. We had an excellent pool side room. Great hotel, good food, drinks, clean and friendly, great band entertainment Wednesday and Friday, great pool bar! Only good things to say about this place.

    Margaritaville - an absolute superb resort, perfect for the family. I would recommend this place to any of my family or friends. The rooms were very clean and house staff were available 24/7 to help clean when needed etc. The facilities couldn’t be faulted while we were on our two week stay. I have three children and throughout our two week stay the children felt very comfortable and were never bored with 4 pools and a secluded beach to keep them entertained. The resort is close to a variety of shops/coffee shops/bars which we visited and enjoyed on our stay. The staff are very friendly and made time out of their day to talk to you and the children. 10 out of 10 from the Lorimer family ;)

    Slow service and no hot water

    Was very surprised to see how slow the bartenders worked at this place. First day waited 1 hour for a drink and 2 hours for a burger. 3 out of 4 nights we had no hot water. The tile around the pool is as slippery as ice when wet. Elavator was scary. Awesome veiw of a garbage dump and a parking lot. The beach is curved out coral, lots of sharpe edges.

    If you are looking for just a room and a pool and have no expectations of service this place is for you.

    I will complement the Eating house restaurant: We ate there once and both had the Filet Mignon. We ordered them medium rare and both were perfectly cooked. will give the hotel points for providing chocolate covered strawberries for us for a special occasion. This place has serious flaws. Although the resort emailed me about my flight and check in time there was not a room available for the rate we booked. Even when we arrived 2 hours late due to flight delays. We opted to wait “20 minutes” for a room with the category to be cleaned and we waited well over an hour. When we finally were in our room, I found a partially eaten candy bar in wrapper on the ice bucket with little bugs all around. First trip of many to complain. Housekeeping is definitely an issue here. On the first full day Housekeeping didn’t come at all. On the 2nd day we advised to the front desk to have housekeeping between 1 and 5, again a no show. Next trip to complain resulted with a special quick clean by the evening house keeper. I was told that housekeeping was not done as the DND sign was on the door (it wasn’t), however I had left the uneaten chocolate covered strawberries outside of the room, which were still there which means I was lied to as an ethical housekeeper would have removed. We had made plans to go out to dinner on the 3rd day, however when we made it to our room we found that there was no running water, ruined that evening out. I feel I should be refunded for my entire stay.
