My husband and I spent a week at Aston Waikiki Sunset in March 2024. We read reviews so anticipated a few issues that actually did not come to pass. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious for the two of us. We had a one bedroom and the beds were quite comfortable. There was a small deck off the bedroom which was nice for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We were on the 33rd floor facing the city and mountains and the view was amazing, especially at night. The kitchen was appointed well enough to make simple meals. Everything was extremely clean and when the mid week service came the rooms were back to just like the first day we were there, they cleaned and changed all the linens! The hotel is a little dated and the carpet in the hallways could use replacement. We had absolutely no problem getting an elevator, even at busy times. I find it hard to rate a hotel like this that is clean, friendly, helpful and very roomy. It is a 5 star experience for us but then it's not like the high end hotels that are available and much more costly so I felt that 4 stars was appropriate.

Nice amenities and short walk to the beach and zoo and mini mart and shopping, and this comment section requires 200 characters minimum, so I need to write more, an rent DVDs but selection was weak, a little trouble figuring out TV service

Location was good, close to Waikiki strip. Not very clean or appealing to eye. Customer service was good and response time was good. Probably would not stay here again, did not know people also live here.

The rooms, price and location were decent, but the service was not very good for my family. My beds were not made when I checked in and even though was told someone would be there to make it…it wasn’t when I got back. My family had to go downstairs and get our own bedsheets and blankets and make them ourselves because housekeeping left by 9 pm. Also, the parking situation is not good. The parking and hotel are separate and I had to correct a parking misunderstanding through another office which is so inconvenient. It was fixed, but still think he hotel needs to work on their system.

Second time staying there. Lovely and close to the beach. Staff were most helpful and friendly. Have recommended to friends and they are staying with you in October. Bit windy to use the pool this time.
