    A wonderful trip and a wonderful stay. Looking forward to coming back in the fall/2019. We came to the Kea Lani in October 1999. Whenever we visit Maui, this is where we stay. On our most recent visit, you guys out did yourselves! Bravo and Amen.

    I needed a quick break and found the perfect place! You don't have to worry of anything, super warm people, spotless, super comfy bed with astonishing views from the Lanai. Try different options in food and all tasty, but KO has that special element plus Lisa is a great server and absolutely knowledgeable of all dishes and Island tips. And of course the Willow Stream Spa so relaxing not to loose. Love walking and there are many trails to enjoy.

    We travel a lot and work in the hotel industry. We were blown away by the hospitality shown to us at Kea Lani. From the moment we checked in and were helped to our room (I so very wish I could remember the young man’s name, as he was very helpful multiple times throughout our stay), the service was second to none. Patty and Missy from concierge were amazing, as both helped us extensively with plans and restaurant reservations. The rooms: Large suites and huge bathrooms. We spent very little time in our room, but it was wonderful. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view which was lovely. The Beach: The beach was so close, and the availability of chairs and umbrellas (all set up for you on demand by beach attendants) was awesome. Every day that we were there, the waves were pretty rough and always a red flag up, but there were always people in the water. Make sure to watch the sunset from the beach at least once! Restaurants: We tried all of the restaurants and room service. KO was our favorite— delectable, unique menu and great service. We had breakfast at Nick’s multiple times, and as long as you aren’t afraid of the birds who run away trying to steal your food, it’s wonderful. We also had dinner at Nick’s which was great. We tried the specialty strawberry dessert and didn’t feel like it was anything special except for the fun performance that accompanied it! We had nothing but AMAZING food at the resort. Spa: Fabulous spa! We had multiple treatments, and they were so great. Our providers were also wonderful. The facilities are beautiful and offer so much.l that I haven’t seen in many spas. One more note... be absolutely SURE to book the free outrigger canoe experience. We had a great time and just totally loved our two guides. We would absolutely come back to Fairmont Kea Lani!

    It’s All About The Guest Experience

    This is a resort that truly understands what it means to show how much they value their guests. We checked in early ( really early!) and waited no more than a couple of hours for our suite. In the meantime, they valeted our car and provided us with a hospitality suite to freshen up. At checkout, we had our time extended and then again a hospitality suite provided to freshen up before our travels. Service in all areas is first class. It’s evident that every staff member, who never walk by a guest without a greeting, are so well trained in true customer service. The suites are large and comfortable with amazing views. The grounds and pool areas are immaculate. A truly exceptional place in paradise. Mahalo, we will return.

    We enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The property is lovely. We stayed in a Kilohana Suite which had a huge bathroom and huge balcony, large living area with couch, chairs, tv and credenza, and a desk. The suite was very nice but the sitting area, particularly at night when there is no natural lighting, seemed worn out. I don't understand why they have a desk instead of a table for eating in such a large room. A table would be much more useful...it's not as if someone can't work at a table. I liked the ceiling fans but the air-conditioner was kind of annoying at night because it would go on and off disturbing sleep. It was nice to have a microwave, small frig, coffee maker, and kettle. House keeping did a good job but were a little inconsistent with timing of getting the room picked up...cleaning the suite in the evening seems a bit late in the day. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have phone chargers in the lamps. One of my biggest complaints is the towels. My gosh they are rough like sandpaper both in the rooms and at the pool. After several days of laying on them at the pool, my elbows were red and raw from rubbing against them. We rented a cabana for many of our days. It was very nice to have a designated spot to go to every day without having to worry about getting a place at the pool. But I didn't think it was exactly as advertised. No "fragrant oshibori" passed around during the day. The fruit sampler was just pineapple day after day. They had a lot of drinks to choose from for your cooler but the pool menu was also the same day after day. (Btw, Maui onions are delicious but do you really have to put them on just about everything?). All the cabana attendants were very nice and helpful. Again, the towels were like sandpaper. The location for our cabana was probably the best if you want a view of the pool (#15 at the lower lagoon pool) but it was definitely busy and noisy as there are pool basketball hoops so often kids were screaming. I don't think I would choose that location again since you really don't spend most of your time looking out at the ocean. The swim-up bar is in the upper lagoon pool and the adult pool seemed relaxing. I know Maui is expensive but some of the prices seem ridiculous...$18 before tax & tip for a cocktail and not much bigger than a plane's plastic cup. Just add few more ounces to make it feel like you aren't being ripped off.
