We had an excellent, spacious, and very well equipped non-smoking room at Bally's while attending the National Homebuilder's Convention in Las Vegas. We loved the monorail stop inside Bally's that was a great way to get around on the "Strip"

I have a problem walking long distance and asked to be near the elevator. My room was the first room near the elevator. When I left the room maid service cleaned up within 30 min. There was no noise in the hall which made resting easy. The machines are lose which allows yu to play for a long time.

Old, run down, expensive, stinks. Half the stay our room didn’t get made or towels replaced. The cigar and cigarettes are much stronger here with poor ventilation. All the food is terrible and expensive. $USD30 for Johny Rockets burger. Unhelpful staff. Location is the only thing going for it. Bed was large but terrible. Big body dents from age. Incorrectly charged for internet but impossible to get rectified. Paying more for a room elsewhere is definitely worth it.

I stayed at Bally's for two nights while visiting a trade show. I'm familiar with the property. If you are as old as me it's the old MGM on the strip and Flamingo -- think Towering Inferno. Lightning won't strike twice in the same place though.. (I hope) The hotel which is pretty much joined at the hip with Paris next door is a bit down at heel but my room -- standard King, no view (no matter) was spacious, clean, looked as if it had been remodelled relatively recently, was quite acceptable. Not even a pen or pad in the room, bare bathroom amenities and no "Do Not Disturb" sign, I think they called "Room Occupied" in Vegas these days. If you look at my room rate alone the room was inexpensive (I got a group rate) BUT.. add a resort fee of cents short of $40 and $15 a day parking (who pays to park in Vegas?) and it adds up. And there's the rub. If you look at my other reviews you will know I am not unhappy to drop a dollar or two on rooms... but I HATE beinmg nickled and dimed to death. And that's what happened here. Perfect example, the "resort fee" covers free Internet (and gym) -- generally free in most hotels these days but we know resort frees are Vegas -- however that free Internet is for *2* devices. Any more ? $15 a day. Outrageous, Travelling with a spouse or family this is just abusive. Then add $15 a day to park in the empty garage?? Tip: We faithfully paid our parking but didn't have to scan anything to be let out. It may be on an "honor" system. Long story short: Not bad value, but I felt taken advantage of and probabaly won't stay here again as a result.

Had a great experience at my first visit at Bally's. Tried to check in early. Lan said it cost $34 but she would upgrade me into a Jr suite so I agreed. We got a call as soon as we got to our room and it was Lan asking if we wanted an available Executive suite. The room was huge and VERY comfortable! Great work by Lan!
