    Booked through Southwest vacations and reserved a Flamingo king non smoking room. We arrived at the Flamingo 12:30 am(3/21). Wasn’t able to check in through self serve kiosk so after waiting to get help I was checked in and given room keys. When I walked into my room it was a 2 queen smoking room (now I know why I couldn’t do self serve because my room was given away) Went down to complain and was told hotel was sold out and rooms are first come first serve. I reminded them I paid for and reserved a King non smoking room. Why make a reservation if rooms are first come first serve. I was told to come back at 9:00 am next morning to ask for a room switch. 9:00 the next morning I had to stand in line to wait my turn to ask for a room switch. I was first told NO but I explained that I’m not staying in a smoking room when I reserved non smoking. They had to go get permission for me to switch to a room I originally booked. Once it was approved for the switch I was told to come back between 12-2 to get my new room keys. 3 times standing in line to finally get the room I reserved. All I was given for all my trouble was a waiver of 1 day resort fees. Very disappointing in the Flamingo.

    Nice, upgraded rooms. Roomy shower stall, hairdryer, mini fridge, TV, plenty of outlets. Noisy at night; should have run the fan at night for white noise. Spent most of the time at the adult pool, which was nice and not too crowded. Was able to find sunny spots on the ground, next to the pool - no cabana reservation needed to enjoy your time there. Wish outside food and drinks were permitted; theirs is too expensive! No jacuzzis, which was disappointing. Masks required at all times unless actively eating/drinking. Didn't visit the casino. I'd stay again with the good package deal we got!

    We paid in full for the first night and that included an additional fee for a room upgrade - and when we arrived they only had a handicap room available. No one offered any compensation. Seems like if you pay in full they could hold the room you reserved. We called the front desk and got moved to a better room the next day. On our third day we spent the morning at the pool, then came back to a room that hadn't been cleaned. We called housekeeping and they sent someone up with towels as we were in a hurry to shower and change. While straightening up the sheets on the bed, we discovered blood at the end of the comforter. It was disgusting realizing we had slept here for 3 nights. We called the front desk and Ruby was rude and offered $50 to compensate us, then increased that to $75 when my wife said that was unacceptable. Housekeeping arrived quickly and Jennifer was professional and explained that any complaints about compensation would be handled at the front desk. They quickly cleaned our room and removed the stained comforter. We will see what happens when we check out - we have stayed here many times and have not experienced this before.

    I booked for a smoking room a month in advance, didn’t get the room i paid extra for. I called before i arrived to make sure my room was waiting on me. When i arrived it wasn’t available !!! They never upgraded my room. I called numerous times to change my room, my husband and i were stuck with the room the entire trip. They didn’t care at all.
