The hotel was nothing but beautiful. Underneath the beauty was a great deal of maintenance issues. We stayed Feb. 12-15 in a 2 bedroom sweet. My family was extremely happy with the look of the room. However, with all the issues we would likely be choosing a different Hilton location for our stay. The first issue, on Friday, was our ice machine. I called 4 times for our ice machine and each time the gentlemen came and said it was off. Until, finally, Sunday night he replaced the ice machine. The second issue was our bathroom sink. It was clogged. I'm thankful the gentleman was able to get this fixed on the first try. The third issue was our dishwasher. Upon arrival all of our dishes were in the dishwasher dirty. With COVID-19, I don't want to see anything dirty from previous guests. I had to call 3 times for this to be fixed. This was also was not fixed until Sunday night. He needed to replace the dishwasher door. He explained that the previous maintenance employee made it worse. I thought that to be very unprofessional. We could not utilize our Kitchen which was a huge bummer.

IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITIES DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked the bellmen where the handicap parking was and there reply. We have no handicap parking. But there is good news they have 2 Tesla charging stations next to the hotel where HANDICAP PARKING should be.

Had a great 3 week stay at the HGV Elara. Everyone was very nice and made our stay very food. Stay was made extra special by Jessica at the front desk as she continually went above and beyond with her excellent customer service.

Best place to stay in Vegas.

This was a great vacation. The location is next to Planet Hollywood and my unit is spacious and modern. It has floor to ceiling windows and my view faces the Eifel Tower and I can even enjoy the Fountain show of Bellagio from my 33rd floor. The unit is clean and mask and sanitizer stations are everywhere. Everyone is so nice here and made my vacation truly enjoyable and safe.

I stayed at the Elara for two nights on a Christmas/holiday trip to...well, let’s just say a lot of places (Vegas being one of them). Despite having already experienced about 10 or 12 hotels on the same trip so far, they’d all been Marriotts and Hyatts, which are the brands to which I’m loyal. I hadn’t even chosen Hilton since maybe six or seven years ago, when I stayed with them through my parents’ Honors account. As my first-ever solo-traveler experience, I was particularly looking forward to spicing up my brand repertoire and seeing how the Elara would stack up. Read on: - The property has a location no better than you’d ever expect and desire as the typical Vegas vacationer. The proximity to Strip casinos and all the tourist amenities accompanying them just can’t be beat. A plus is also that a mall complex is attached directly to the hotel lobby, which provides indoor access to shops and Planet Hollywood too. - Staff are some of the friendliest and most attentive folks I would imagine working in the city’s hospitality industry. I mean it. Mark and Jermecia, kudos to your five-star service!! Jermecia enthusiastically gave me the info (and some discounts!) to have the best time in Vegas possible, and she worked to find a quiet room away from both others and from traffic. Her search was successful! Mark at the valet/bellhop station was super engaging, outgoing, and simply the most passionate about his job. We had a lengthy conversation while I waited for an airport taxi, and I still clearly remember his infectious energy and dedication to the Hilton brand. Thanks to him, Jermecia, and everyone else! - COVID precautions were followed and enforced very well, and I didn’t feel unsafe. Common areas felt clean, and my room was as spotless as could be. Staff wore masks, and 95% of guests did too (let’s get that to 100%). I appreciate the blue little stickers that Hilton places on the room doors to mark the fact that they’ve been fully sanitized and prepped for the next visitor. - While the room was clean, I did notice some areas that were showing a bit of age. Some paint was peeling in spots, and I believe the bath looked darker, not with dirt but with old surfaces. A minor thing, but I must tell my readers. - Please please correct me if I am wrong, because I strive for accuracy—but I saw no recycling in my room, and I received affirmation of this from someone at the front desk. Marriotts and Hyatts all have recycling bins......let’s get on it, Hilton! - I acknowledge the urgent and consistent need for safety and caution amid the pandemic, and I will never advocate otherwise. However, upon using the services of dozens of hotels during this crazy time in public health, I have stayed at places who permit Doordash drivers or hotel employees to assist guests by sending deliveries straight to room doors. Apparently at the Elara, as of my December 2020 stay, not even the staff was allowed to help me by carrying my ordered food up to me. Why is this a slightly frustrating rule? Because for the first half of my stay, the power wheelchair I use to walk long distances was inoperable due to airline/flight damage. I had to traverse the long hallways of the hotel, wait for an elevator, and head all the way to find the Doordash driver, which put a significant burden on my legs—they ached for awhile. Again, I completely respect and encourage strict COVID protocols, but I would’ve appreciated some rule-bending here as a disabled customer. But guys, those are really all the negatives. I am confident to deem the Elara four stars, with perhaps another star in the foreseeable future. I will return again, especially if I know the areas for improvement I mentioned are addressed. Thanks for a memorable Vegas stay!
