This resort was beautiful! The rooms were amazing. It was so worth the extra upgrade for the luxury king with the view. The rooms were so spacious. The staff was so helpful. There was a wide variety of restaurants. I will definitely be back!

Excellent experience. Wouldn’t change anything. Costs are a bit much, but it’s expected. The pools were awesome. Drinks were a bit expensive, but the staff was very nice. The rooms were very clean. Very glad we stayed here

Not as good as first visit in 2017

The first time we stayed at The Palazzo, we loved it! This time, we were a bit let down. It's still a gorgeous property, don't get me wrong. I just think it's starting to show more wear-and-tear - and they don't seem to be taking COVID all that seriously - except for requiring masks. Additionally, since it is SO inexpensive to stay there at the moment, well, to me, that sort of made the resort lose its "exclusivity factor" just a bit. I say that as someone who had recently stayed at the Encore and NoMad, and had true 5-star experiences at both resorts. I certainly don't mean to sound all high and mighty, I just wasn't as "wowed" as I was about 4 years ago. A few issues of note this time: The front desk agent (whom I absolutely could not hear due to the now infamous mask...) somehow gave us a double room when I had booked a king - my reservation said so! Luckily, I was able to get that squared away without issue...although I do feel I should have gotten some sort of comp for the trouble of having to go back to the front desk to get my new keys! Another issue, and to me, this is a BIG one - the resort is not advertising NOT getting your room serviced due to COVID, as other resorts have been doing. We simply placed the "do not disturb" sign on our door, and on our last night, we had were greeted by an ominous red sign that basically read something to the effect of "if you decline service again, we will have to come into the room to check on things." When I called to request fresh towels, I told the housekeeping associate WHY we were declining service, and she basically acted as if COVID wasn't a thing. Excuse me?! What the heck kind of attitude is that at what is supposed to be a FIVE STAR resort? Otherwise, the room was clean, nice bedding, convenient and abundant restaurant options at the resort made for an otherwise lackluster stay. A generous 4 stars but it should probably be more like 3.

the good: large spacious rooms, flat screen tv in front of the bed, in the sitting area and in the bathroom. Bathroom is reasonably spacious with separate shower and tub with the usual soaps, shampoos etc. Towels are large and fluffy. In the main room, there is a minibar (dont touch) with triggered removal. A side cabinet with separately wrapped snacks. The curtains are electronically operated (kinda cool) . housekeeping did a great job cleaning daily. The parking is free, even valet! (we parked at the venetian and walked over) the bad: depending on covid restrictions (just loosening now) restaurants can be packed with long waits. shows, if available are likely to be limited. For any weekend, book reservations in advance. Walking anywhere is a trek both in and out of the casinos. the crowds on weekends are significant, even when walking along the blvd.
