Best place EVER

Dane B in the swim up bar is the absolute best bartender on the property. I would go back just to party at his bar!! Us and the two other couples had the best time celebrating. Dane B is the sweetest funniest person I have met so far. If you get a butler request Danesha- she will take the best care of you!
25th wedding anniversary trip

Tonight is our last night of our 10 night stay to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a fabulous trip filled with fun, relaxation, and many great memories. There were several people who really stood out. Akeem in the piano pool swim up bar stood out as great. Adair in latitudes was very attentive. Patrika the entertainer made us feel special. DJ Roderick at the piano pool swim up bar played some good tunes. Kevin the photographer was persistent (in a good way). Chenee and Faolyn from the spa were amazing; we ended up with two massages from them! Ceressa from latitudes and the piano pool swim up bar is great; very attentive and charismatic. She would do well in the Club Sandals lounge. Oshane and Dane were our butlers. Most of the hostesses and wait staff were good although we did not catch their names. The sushi restaurant was an instant favorite and we ended up there three times during our stay. Staff and food all over the resort were great! I’ll miss my favorite cat, “Moo Moo Sammy” very much. She met me every time I walked by her area for pets!
Butler experience

The resort was stunning, beach is extremely close to rooms, sand is white and fluffy, water is crystal clear. Very clean and nice resort. Food was mostly good. We were very disappointed in Butchs, we both got surf and turf. Steak was good, lobster was extremely mushy. Sides were not good at all, both cold and extremely bland. The Italian place is just ok. Soy is AMAZING, we went there almost everyday for a small appetizer before dinner. Oleandars was our next favorite behind Tokyo joes. Candle light dinner on beach was by far the best meal we had, highly recommend. We purchased a butler level room. Very disappointed, not sure if I will ever do again. We had 2 butlers during our week stay. Rushane and Okeria. Rushane not good at all, late at least 15 min every night for dinner. We ordered lunch on the beach and it would be at least an hour wait to get the food. Did not come and check on us like the other butlers did their guests. Seemed like he was just there for a paycheck and could care less about our stay there until it was the last day, he called us 4 times to “remind us” that it was our last day and that we needed to tip him. Very frustrating. Okeria on the other hand was absolutely amazing. Did anything we asked, on time, lunch on the beach was very prompt, checked on us at the beach, extremely helpful and friendly. The beach crew picking up cups and such were all extremely friendly, got us drinks when asked.
Goods and Others, my first experience of Sandals

The resort has some very nice aspects and a few negatives, but overall they work hard at providing a good value for a vacation. The rooms are outstanding, clean and modern with all the amenities you need. Plenty of outlets, great showers, safe, well wonderful balcony with outdoor tub. The staff is universally friendly and helpful, it begins when you enter the terminal at Sangster airport upon arrival. The food is ok. There are plenty of restaurants. Some require reservations though most don't. If you are a foodie who likes to watch "chef's table" you will find the overall quality ranging from acceptable to enjoyable. The drinks are all included, but you can only drink "well" drinks, there are no top shelf brands. The bartenders are quite friendly but if you are used to an old fashioned with Bulleit Rye or a blue cheese stuffed olive martini with Grey Goose you will be out of luck. The margaritas are unrecognizable clear drinks. The local wine is, surprisingly good which is nice. During the afternoon a DJ plays loud music so there's little chance to really "relax". It's kind of like you're back in high school and having your first party and drinking your first alcohol. Honestly, the whole point of growing up is to get away from this kind of stuff so I was expecting a much better experience for $1000 a night. It maybe that I'm describing your perfect holiday, if so, enjoy. The beaches are wonderful, the water is warm, and the staff incredible friendly. If you are a little older and think the JW Marriott is more your style than you might want to consider something else.
Wonderful first experience

My husband and I vacationed at Sandals Montego Bay for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! This was our first all inclusive experience and it set the bar high. From start to finish it was a great experience. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Every single employee was kind & accommodating. Two stand out workers were Marlon and Akeem at the bars and entertainer Scion. All bartenders were attentive but Marlon and Akeem were extra fun, personable and got to know us throughout our time there. Scion is an amazing artist and very talented! If you see him painting be sure to check out his work! Housekeeping was respectful of your space and kept not only the rooms but entire resort spotless. Manager Christopher was extremely welcoming kind and helpful not only at the resort but at his second job the airport. I was clueless on the checking in process and he jumped right in to help me. The resort is close to the airport. We liked that because of the convenience, but keep in mind you will hear planes over head throughout the day. This didn’t bother us but may affect some! If you’re unsure of where to stay and would like to check out Jamaica, Montego Bay is the place for you.
