Beautiful Resort!

Coronado Springs was a great experience for me and my family . Our room was cozy and had a lot of space. I enjoyed walking around the resort because of the beautiful scenery. The pools were well taken care of. I enjoyed the theming of the main pool. My only issue with the resort was the lack of cleaning services and not having many food options at the cafeteria. Prices at the cafeteria were expensive but that is expected when visiting a Disney resort. Food was good and the staff were always friendly. My family and I loved the resort and would definitely visit again!

Wow... what an amazing stay at a gorgeous property. We have been yearning to go on vacation ever since covid hit, and we have especially missed Disney. I'm so glad that we chose to stay at Coronado Springs. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the recently remodeled rooms are extremely classy and comfortable. Honestly, I felt like we were at a deluxe Disney resort. Don't think twice if you are considering staying here... book it!!! Be sure to take a walk around the lake, and grab a cocktail at the Destino rooftop bar... BEST drinks at Disney!!!
A Magical Week!

My husband, 16-year-old son and I spent a wonderful week at the Disney Coronado Springs resort. The property is absolutely gorgeous with meticulously kept gardens and many walking paths. We took advantage of several dining options and we loved every single one! Easy, quick meals at El Mercado, a flight of sangria and delicious corn and shrimp fritters at Three Lakes, a casual lunch at Rix (shout out to Shannon behind the bar), tapas and stunning views from the Dahlia Lounge rooftop bar and tasty snacks at Siestas Cantina by the pool. Staff and patrons were all mindful of social distancing and Covid precautions. The pool attendants were quick to clean every chair as guests left the pool areas. Hand sanitizer stations were positioned throughout the resort and at the entrance to every restaurant. We started our week in the Casitas, a three floor building on the property. Our room was very clean and an attendant stopped by daily to see if we needed anything - coffee, towels, etc. On our third morning, we noted water coming from the room above into our bathroom. The resort staff were incredibly responsive and immediately sent out an engineer to check out the problem. The issue required a significant repair, so we quickly packed up and were upgraded to a room in the Gran Destino Tower, plus a $70 resort credit, and a later check out on our last day. The views from our 12th floor, lake view room were stunning. The Gran Destino Tower’s nod to Antoni Gaudí’s architecture was beautiful - arches, windows, stained glass, intricate tilework, exterior mosaic walls and more. During the week, we tried all three pools. The two smaller pools were quiet, clean and warm. The large Dig Site pool was impressive! A fun water slide, large hot tub and plentiful chairs made for a perfect setting. After the long year of the pandemic, we were SO grateful to be able to make this trip. The entire resort is beautiful - gorgeous lake, comfortable beds, speedy elevators, hammocks, bike rentals and plenty of park benches! THANK YOU, Coronado Springs employees, for helping us to have a memorable, safe and relaxing week.
Beautiful for a moderate resort!

Coronado Springs is a beautiful resort with plenty to offer. We recently stayed at this resort at the end of March and the staff was wonderful. Every employee I spoke with always had a smile on their face and was helpful. It was nice to see such happy people. We stayed in the tower. Which we had a little issue with. Initially we started on the 4th floor in a room with a great view. The front desk called and needed us to switch rooms. Which we had no issue with. They moved us to the 5th floor to a room with a horrible view (the window was half frosted so you couldn’t see the top of the main entrance). We were a bit disappointed since we knew Coronado had such beautiful views. However we decided not to say anything and enjoy the resort. Housekeeping brought what we needed when we asked for extra towels & coffee. Even gave our kids button pins. No complaints at all with the room itself. The food was great. We loved Rix Sports Bar. The watchos are awesome! And for grab and go food, El Marcado always provided hot meals. The options aren’t huge, but they do a great job keeping everything stocked and available. The main pool is a bit crazy at the moment due to COVID and social distancing. If the pool is at capacity, a cast member will take your name and number and text you when a spot has opened up. We never waited more than 30 minutes to get in. The main pool area itself is very neat. My kids loved the water slide. Overall this resort was wonderful and the people and great. We will defiantly come back to this resort in the future.
Coronado Springs is really beautiful

I love the whole vibe at Coronado. The landscaping, fountains and layout are really beautiful. We stayed in Casitas Building one on 2nd floor. We loved the Casitas pool which is 5 feet deep or more. The quick service restaurant has only pre packaged stuff due to COVID - I think. If you are hungry and have no options - it’s fine. My girls loved the nachos. Desserts are good. Our room was small but very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Limited housekeeping due to COVID was ok. You feel like you want to leave a nice tip but...if you’re making your own bed, etc. There was a nice long counter top to leave our junk on and lots of places to hang stuff. The one major drawback was the waiting list for the main pool - again due to COVID. One day we waited on the list for 2 hours and by the time we got in we had to leave for dinner plans. When you come back from the parks and you are melting and tired - you want to hop in the pool. No such luck. The Casitas pool was always open when we wanted it though. The big pool has a bar and food so that made it preferable for us and we spent the day there before flying home. Was great. Some restaurants are closed entirely at Coronado and others are hard to get into. I do love this hotel but know before you go that you may not get to enjoy all of the amenities until COVID is over. The Disney theming here is also kind of minimal which I didn’t mind because it’s so pretty. Only one incident with Disney buses when we were trying to meet friends. We took an Uber to animal kingdom which was well worth it. I think they need to have organized lines at the hotel bus stops. When there is a crowd waiting it’s hard to know who got there first and some people don’t care who got there ahead of them - they just know they are ready to go. Overall our week long stay here was great. Would love to go back after COVID. I don’t know anything about the newish Tower. Can tell you the lobby is gorgeous. Staff were all extremely friendly and great.
