Much needed rest

This place is top notch! The food, staff, bar tenders, facilities are amazing ! Our concierge, Mr. Reynosa kept us abreast of all our reservations at restaurants, and made sure we were comfortable. We will return every chance we have :)

Our Concierge Jandris Santana made our stay amazing!! Whenever we needed guidance big or small he was always there for us. He was so pleasant and helpful and would definitely be happy if on our next holiday in November we were to get him again.

Our Family Concierge Zenovia was outstanding with gifts for our 2 year old, fun surprises, and made my husband's birthday one to remember. Because the resort was so empty, there was no shortage of pool chairs or cabanas and reservations probably would have been easily obtained if we didn't have a FC. The pool waiter/concierge Wander was outstanding! Never had an empty hand, brought snacks for my daughter, smoothies, and was such a pleasure to chat with. The Reserve: Pros: The rooms are beautiful. The pool is large and all of the chairs, cabanas, lounges are so comfy. The kids club/pool and gym are right there. The alcohol is top shelf unlike the rest of the resort (they make you pay). It is quiet and relaxing. Cons: The only lunch spot is the Grill which was terrible. I loved the Grill at other locations. They need to improve here. BUT we enjoyed moving to the ocean for the afternoon so Gabi is oceanfront (buffet) and if Mole is open, it was nice and pretty good. Overall experience of Paradisus PC: The grounds are stunning! The beach is white sand, no seaweed, breathtaking! Not all of the restaurants were open because of the low occupancy. Food wasn't terrible but wasn't the greatest either. Breakfast was always good. It is such a beautiful resort, I wish there were more oceanfront activities and resturants beside the buffet that would have been open in the evening. If I returned, I would choose the Reserve side again as it gives you more of a luxury vacation.

We had a great time in this hotel. The room was very clean and it was very comfortable. They have a really good service and very nice facilities. The beach is amazing! Breakfast is also very good! We will definitely like to come back!!!!
Very Disappointing Experience

I stayed at the Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana from February 28th until March 5th in room #1437, Bldg.#43. The room had many maintenance and housekeeping issues. Some issues were fixed, others were not, such as both phones not working during my stay. I have used Melia Resorts for my last 5 vacations and my experiences have been good.This time, I was not satisfied at all. I will not return or recommend this hotel!
