Catalonia Royal Tulum Beach & Spa

We like to try new hotels each time, this hotel will definitely be worth coming back to!! The food is extraordinary. We upgraded to Privileged and i highly reccomend it. It comes with the Bloved restaurant and it was one of my favorites to go to whenever i wanted! The beach and pool are clean and clear. The water was among one of the bluest and clearest I have ever seen. The resort is small and cozy, it makes the experience personal as you get to know most of the staff. The rooms are clean and comfy. Favorite restaurant was Terrace Tapas spanish, its a must go! We will definitely be coming back here!

We and our friends stayed at the Hotel Catalonia Royal Tulum Beach & Spa Resort from the 13.2. - 24.2.2021 and enjoyed a wonderful time there! The hotel is located in the jungle and it’s very stylish. It’s a relaxing place where you feel home and safe. It has the most beautiful beach that we have ever seen, with white sand, turquoise water and palm trees – it was paradise! Another plus is the big pool with the poolbar and enough sun loungers and parasols. The hotel room was big, and we loved the balcony where you have enough private atmosphere and the feeling that you are in the jungle on your own. The beds were very comfortable. There are different restaurants in the hotel. Even during Corona-times several of them were open all day (Italian, Mexican, Asian, …) Something for everyone! We loved the food there! The whole staff was very friendly and tried to fulfill every wish we had. We also joined the gym and had some massages. The gym is big and clean and the SPA is well decorated and was a very nice and quiet place. We loved the massages, one of the best we ever had! We had the deep tissue and relaxing massage. The voluntary program in the afternoon and evening was very diverse. The three animators Rosa, Louis and Hector were so friendly, corteous and inviting. They managed to inspire us without being intrusive. Be it playing Cornhall or at the dancing evenings, they always ensured that we felt comfortable and had fun. And we truly did! We had a wonderful, magical time in the Hotel Catalonia Royal Resort & Spa and we surely will be back soon! Waia & Aurelia

Excellent adults-only all-inclusive. Wonderful staff. Beautiful scenery. The only thing I'd have them change is to keep the hot tub open later. It should be open until 11 or midnight. None of the rooms overlook the pool or the ocean. This makes being at the pool or the beach a more serene experience.

Premium facility, with superior staff and service. The pool is great and the beach... one of the best. The food was very good, ample, and selections are excellent. This is our favorite “adults only” resort. So many long time staff members that make you feel like family.

This was our first time at Catalonia Royal Tulum. Our stay was during COVID and new US regulations to get back in the country. The occupancy was 12% which plays a huge part in our stay. We truly enjoyed the resort. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We liked that they left fresh beach towels in our room each night. All the restaurant options were great...steak house, Asian cuisine, tapas and snacks. The nightly entertainment was smaller than usual but energetic. They offered a variety like Mexican night, Broadway, karaoke, rock band and a horn player. The pool area was very relaxing and the beach was beautiful. One thing to note, the beach is a public beach so locals are also enjoying it. The gym was open but you have to make a reservation which is nice. They have a nice selection of cardio and strength equipment. We enjoyed a few spa treatments that we so relaxing. Try the back/neck/shoulder massage and the foot reflexology and you will understand relaxed. Although room service was offered we did not take advantage of it. It looked like you had to order the night before to have breakfast delivered. We definitely recommend the private romantic dinner on the beach. It was a bit windy but worth it?? Be sure to catch a sunrise ?? too.
