Not the best stay

The food was decent - no WOW factor. Buffett had many varieties to choose from. Due to COVID, only 2-3 restaurants were open, could only get reservations for the Brazilian restaurant - which had basically the same meats as the buffet. Alcohol choices were bare minimum- no fun smoothies or mixed drinks. Staff was friendly at times. Overall the resort was very clean . Beds were comfortable. Room was sanitized and very clean. Just disappointed in the food and alcohol choices. Not super impressed for our first all inclusive.
wonderful stay

This is a huge resort but it leaves enough space for everyone. Located on a beautiful bay with sandy beaches and rocky ones. We had a renovated room which was quite nice. Except you can't get it dark at night as the light from outside comes through the glass shower door. We had no TV signal for the entire stay. Apart from that is was really nice. Very clean everywhere. The food was good . The Covid regulations were confusing sometimes. One day it was mainly self service at the buffet restaurant on others it was not. The foodtruck open air eatery is quite nice. The vast open spaces a filled with lush greenery and and feels almost like in zoo with all these wonderful animals roaming around. Next time we will take our 12 yo son with us , it´s a great place for kids. One wish we have to the management: it would be great to have just one pool without music.
Not recommended, you will be better somewhere else, trust me.

I traveled with my wife to get a getaway and recharge batteries after all this stressful times, well, it did not go like that. I booked this hotel looking for that open spaces (which the hotel has) rather than being on a enclosed space, also because the all-inclusive. Here is my experience, as mentioned the hotel is all-inclusive, that includes basically buffet style restaurants and depending on your stay, you have the right to book a la carte restaurants, for mine (4 nights / 3 days) we can have one dinner at one of these "nicer" restaurants. Well we booked at a Mexican restaurant for a 10:00 pm dinner, when we arrived to the restaurant we were told that it was a buffet (same as the others), food was OK, but not a la carte. The other issue at the restaurant was that we were under pressure all the time to basically finish our dinner because they have to close, we were forced to "finish our dinner in less than 45 minutes. Food on the other restaurants is OK if you don't have high expectations. Another issue was with the TV (I know, some will said, are you worried about the TV) but when at the room while getting ready to go out or just resting, it was impossible to watch TV, the signal was just breaking all the time. Terrible. Another issue with the hotel is the beach, if you are looking for sandy beaches this is not the place, theirs are full of rocks. The the cherry on top of my experience was at check out; on this hotel you stay at "villas' and are quite far from the main lobby, so they use gold carts for transportation, so we used one for ourselves and my bag, we arrived t the lobby and my bag was left there under the baggage handler supervision. After finishing the check-out process and when ready to take my transport to the airport my bag was gone, no one seen it or knew about by bag (typical), could not wait any longer so we left with just someone's name (Giovana Romero) to call and find out about my bag. Apparently my bag was loaded on another transport (excellent check-out control) and after may frustrating calls and emails I was told the hotel will send the bag to my home. Well after 19 days I still don't have my bag and likely if I get it will be without little valuable items we had. So my goal of relaxation and enjoyment was not achieved. So it is up to you if you want to experience it by yourself. Good luck.

All inclusive was perfect at the privilege lounge and different restaurants each night. Make sure you schedule your dinners before you arrive or at the privilege lounge and you just need to text them to be picked up at your room to travel anywhere at the resort. Great place- Great Food and Great service!!!!
A perfect little get away

My bf and I traveled amidst the holiday season and decided to stay here. I booked through the hotel website it was fast and easy and the representative was helpful and pleasant. I was able to check in prior to arriving which made the arrival smooth and seamless. We were upgraded from a junior suite which was great. The room was beautifully styled and rather quaint we don’t need much so it was perfect for a quick stay. The balcony had a beautiful view over looking the pool and right over into the beach area which we loved. Our room was away from all the movement which was a little inconvenient when we wanted food but great for social distancing purposes. They temperature checked at all the entrances for the common areas and hand sanitizer stations were conveniently placed. The buffet was pretty basic very hit or miss. Wasn’t our favorite. The pools were pretty busy swim up bar etc. we skipped that as a precaution and stuck to the beach. We made dinner reservations at Tequila which was vibrant inside and the food was delicious. Our favorite restaurant was Thali the Hindu cuisine was amazing! Do not skip this spot. Everything we had was so flavorful and well prepared. Our servers Gamaliel and Javier were so kind. They attended to us and made sure we had a wonderful evening. We were the last ones in the restaurant and the manager made us feel so welcome. When we return to this hotel this restaurant will be our first stop! The decor, the staff, the food 5 stars. The resort had shows and entertainment we skipped that as well. Overall extremely clean and beautiful. 4 stars bc the buffet was the primary source of food on nights where you don’t make reservations and unless you get there as soon as it opens the options are subpar. Also no room service or food of any sort in the rooms. You can’t take food back with you from anywhere.
