The Boardwalk Hotel at Disney world is a perfect hotel for business and of course for families. Located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios theme parks, it’s a short walk to either one. The hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and the rooms are good size. The only negative is valet. They did not offer the same great customer service as the rest of the hotel.

When we went to Walt Disney World for a vacation, we did a lot of research to decide which hotel/resort to stay during that time. This spot came with a great recommendation, and the fact that it is located at a "boardwalk" sounded like fun. It offered complementary bus from the Orlando airport (you need to arrange it beforehand), which was awesome! Fining the bus depot was a bit of a challenge, but once we got there, it was simple and easy. The staff who checked us in also checked on our return bus schedule to ensure we will have a return arranged as well. The inn was quite beautiful, it shares the lobby with villa (?). The lobby was massive, with a good amount of seats. They had several doors that leads to the other side, where the boardwalk is located. Nancy at the front helped us check in. She was super nice and friendly. made us feel welcomed. We were there to celebrate birthday and anniversary, so we asked for badges for that, and Nancy gave us some cute badges for us to wear! There are only 12 room with King size bed at the Boardwalk Inn, so we didn't get the king room... I am sure they are reserved for VIP guests and the ones who comes everywhere. We got a room with two queen size bed, which was just fine. We got the magic band, which also acts as a room key. It was so nice that we don't have to carry around any key card to go in to our room. The room was roomy and beautiful, with lots of natural lights coming in. It had a small balcony. We didn't have the best view, but it was still quite nice. Loved the desk and lamp that had Mickey and Minnie on it. The "do not disturb" sign was adorable too, it was Neverland themed design! The bathroom was a nice size too, and everything like shampoo, soap, lotion, etc., were Disney brand items. Wow. It was nice and clean too. They had a refrigerator, coffee machine, with of course, Disney brand coffee! The closet was not very large, but since the room had a good amount of drawer spaces, it was ok. There was an iron, ironing board, and a safe in the closet. There was a laundry room near the elevator, which is great for the ones who are staying for a longer time, or with little kids who are professional at making some mess. LOL. I really appreciated the easy access to boardwalk dining and shopping, and 15min walk to Epcot! We could also walk to the Hollywood Studios as well for about 20 minutes or so. Or, you can take the complimentary boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. For other parks, they have complimentary buses. They had a monitor at the bus stop, but it was not working. It would've been very helpful if we knew when the buses are arriving... We really enjoyed our stay here, we had such an fun vacation. Staying at this conveniently located resort really helped with our busy schedule, and we were able to make the most of each day.

Five Stars for a Perfect Disney Property

My family of four stayed six nights in a garden-view room (two queen beds, one daybed) last week and it was perfect. For reference, I have stayed at both Deluxe (Yacht Club) and Value (All-Star) Disney properties within the past five years, but this is my first time at The Boardwalk. The location is excellent with lots to see and do around the resort and quick/reliable transportation to the parks via bus or boat, although both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are each a 10-15 minute walk away. The features and amenities are listed online so I won’t elaborate on them here—but what you MUST know about this property is that you will be delighted by your experience there. The decor is classic, interesting, and beautiful, the grounds are immaculate...it even smells good. Every Disney cast member, from the concierge to housekeeping, is knowledgeable about the property, is quick to provide assistance and/or directions, and will greet you with a smile. Our room was lovely (near the quiet pool) and housekeeping was excellent. The Bellevue Lounge was a great place for an evening cocktail and the various verandas and porches overlooking the lake were well-furnished with comfortable chairs and tables at which to do so. Evening entertainment on the boardwalk included a variety of food kiosks, roving magicians and carnival-style acrobats, movies on the lawn, and, of course, the opportunity to watch the fireworks. One of my favorite aspects of staying here is the fact that I felt completely safe allowing my tween and teen to navigate the property by themselves—there are no dark hallways or corridors and the entire property is extremely well-staffed. Two issues/requests during my stay (luggage that didn’t make it to the hotel from the airport and my needing to add an extra night to our visit) were handled swiftly and professionally—-thanks to the most stand-out, gracious cast members Logan and Allison! In short, staying at the Boardwalk hotel is a deluxe experience that will absolutely elevate your Disney vacation. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Perfect for a runDisney girls' trip!

My friend and I stayed here for the runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. As adults doing a girls' trip in a Disney resort, we wanted something a bit more upscale and that would cater to our ages. The Boardwalk did not disappoint. The room was spacious, clean, and close to the main building/a side pool. The queen beds were comfortable, and we liked the H2O products supplied in the bathroom. We didn't hear much from the rooms around us. However, you will hear (but not see) the Epcot fireworks every night from around 9PM to 9:30PM. For a run event, this was the best hotel location. We were the last chartered bus stop before the expo and the run itself, so we got everywhere quickly. In addition, the bus transportation to the parks was simple and efficient. The boardwalk itself is a spectacle; it has quick dining, sit-down dining, and snack options along the lake. We stopped by the general store a few of the nights for their desserts. All restaurants have the option to sit on the boardwalk and take in the view. The one drawback for this hotel is quick breakfast options before you hop a bus to the parks. The closest food option in the hotel is the lounge, but it only has continental offerings. Skip the coffee and get it from one of the Starbucks locations in the parks, you'll be much happier. If you don't mind the trek, and a sit-down breakfast, the boardwalk has a few options. If you prefer something a bit more substantial, but fast, you're better off eating in the park (re: Starbucks).

This resort has the best of everything! The restaurants are great. The proximity to two parks are a plus. The pool area is fun and there is also a quiet pool to relax by. But the pool bar which is great is at the big pool. The rooms are bigger than average and the views are great! Always our go to resort
