Can't say enough about this beautiful resort! We had an amazing time. The room was beautiful, the food was wonderful, and many of the employees became friends that we will keep in contact with for years to come! I've taken a lot of trips, but this one was definitely one of my favorites. We will be returning!

    Great family vacation!

My wife and 4 kids (ages 10 and under) spent 4 days at Nonsuch Bay Report in mid-February. We read a lot of the reviews before booking and generally agree with what most have to say. The resort is beautiful, quiet, remote and relaxing. The food was very good – all 3 meals each day were varied, plentiful and delicious. Buffet for breakfast and lunch and a la carte for dinner. We ate very well during our stay. The 3 infinity pools are wonderful and not crowded. We especially enjoyed the views from the pool by the restaurant. There was a nice mix of guests – both families with kids and adults without kids during our stay. Our kids made friends with other kids their ages by hanging out at the beach. We did the Green Island trip (based on prior reviews) and really enjoyed it. We had a rental car and drove 10 minutes to Half Moon Bay (based on prior reviews), which is a stunning beach. Others without cars took taxis to get there. I would highly recommend spending a half day at Half Moon Bay. The 3-bedroom suite we stayed in at Nonsuch was enormous and very nice. 3.5 bathrooms, a huge wraparound balcony with great views. The staff was excellent too. Very welcoming and hospitable from the moment we first arrived through our checkout. The only aspects that could’ve been better, though some are out of the hotel’s control, are the windiness and the kids club. It was pretty windy our first day or 2, which made it chilly at the pool. The last 2 days were less windy and much warmer. The kids club is small and there isn’t a lot for kids ages 6-10 to do if the weather is too windy to sail (which is what happened our first 2 days, all sailing activities for kids were cancelled). Our kids’ favorite activity in the kids club was the boat trip to Green Island to snorkel. Some past reviews comment on the beach – it is small, but it’s calm and quiet with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. If you’d like big waves, take the 10 min trip to Half Moon Bay.

We had a suite which was situated near the top of the hillside may be difficult for those not good on their feet but we (both pensioners) coped OK. The room was very good with a separate sitting room/ dining kitchen, although the kitchen is not really useable as there are no cooking utensils. WiFi and TV were very good which was useful as there is not a lot to do in the evenings at the hotel. The staff were very good especially in the restraunt, the food was OK, but nothing special. The bar is fairly small but we liked the intimate atmosphere where it was easy to meet other guests in the evenings, although when we were there it was very quiet after 9 pm. If you are into sailing this is the place to go, it is the only all inclusive resort that I have been to that actually wants you to sail when its windy !! The equipment available is in good condition and there are various sailing boats for you to have a go at with help if you need it from the sailing staff, special shout out for them all from me. The beach is kept very tidy and is safe for swimming but a trip to green island is well worth it for snorkling - but go earl as it can become very busy with cruise ship visitors in the afternoon. The location of the resort is a bit remote with not much to do unless you have transport or hire a taxi. The only negatives for this resort was the lack of things to do when the weather is bad - you really need to take something to entertain yourself. Would I go again - absolutely.

My wife and i stayed at Nonsuch bay from Feb 24 for a week. The place is one of a kind. Around 45 mins from the airport. The drive not bad at all. One thing i like that its out the way and you feel like your in your own little world. The staff are all wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough. They made the vacation. The beach is beautiful, the one bedroom apt is so spacious and has lovely views. The food everyday was great. The service top notch. They knew us by name from day one and we made so lovely friends. Its about 30 mins from English Harbour and St Johns. If you are looking for a totally relaxing break this is the place and i have stayed many places. Thank you to the staff and we will be seeing you again very soon! M Morris

We, 3 seniors, spent 10 days in a little bit of heaven. The staff was kind and friendly and the food generally top-notch. The biggest drawback were the steep hills. (They need a couple of golf carts and a dedicated staff to drive, perhaps during specified hours.) Also missing was an obvious/identified manager. It seemed everyone did the job! Lots of families with young children were enjoying the water sports (sailing, paddleboarding...) and the spacious 2 & 3 bedroom villas during a school break week.
