All of the staff at the Reflect Cancun Hotel were polite and always have a smile when wishing you Buenos Dias. Of the four restaurants that the hotel has; The Grill was our particular favourite. Ernesto the manager there is very welcoming without being too intrusive. The food is also excellent (love the wings). Beach service is also fantastic (bearing in mind this all inclusive), Jesus, Fernando and Lilliana were very attentive, always nearby and looked after us fabulously. I can recommend chicken quesadillas on the beach. These were a highlight of our trip and again delivered with a smile.

I spent few day with my girlfriend, it is the first time tha a we visit Cancún, and this hotel was wonderful!!! We had a great time and we were able to join the kareoke night and also the mexicana show. That was nice. The staff are very kind, the servers at the restaurants are very polite and helpfull, I wanto to say thank you to all of them beacuse in the restaurants, pool and beach were always smiling. Aleho at the pool has a great attitude, also we lo e the food from all the restaurants. I decided to get a romantico dinner for my Girlfriend and Adrian our server was very nice. The food was delicious!! The Hostes at the Grill was very kind. We decided to get a room at the altittude tower, and the room was awesome. We had an excelent view and the girl from hosekeeping (sorry I dont remember her name) always had our room very clean. I hope we can go back to this beautiful hotel, beacuse what we love the most was the beautiful beach. The color of the beach in Cancun is amazing!

Beautiful place. They upgraded me to an ocean view room at no additional charge. Alvaro was courteous and super attentive! If you visit this resort ask for Alvaro! Great guy! I would 100% come back to this resort. Only thing was the room could’ve been kept a little colder

    Wonderful getaway!!

We booked this vacation spur-of-the-moment to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday, along with our upcoming 38th wedding anniversary. It was an incredibly-priced package deal booked through Travelzoo/Apple Vacations. Here are a few recaps - As far as transportation to/from the airport -- the Amstar shuttle experience was extremely convenient and seamless. We felt totally at ease, both arriving to the resort, as well as departure day, where staff members gave us meeting times, and the driver was there as promised. (FYI, the airport is an approximate half-hour ride, along the resort strip.) Upon our arrival, we felt as though the check-in process was a bit drawn out -- especially when the sales representative wanted to set up tours, breakfast presentations, etc. We had just arrived and were soaking in the process -- so this was a bit overwhelming and pressured. We do understand they have to do their jobs and offer the various amenities that are available -- but perhaps they can "take no for an answer" a bit more quickly -- especially for those of us who had such a short stay (3 nights) and just wanted to relax and get settled quickly. As for the resort, it was nestled in a lovely location, with beautiful ocean views and sunrises. Our room was on the 6th floor, Room 621 -- overlooking the gorgeous infinity pool, extended beach area and entertainment area of the hotel zone. Room amenities were extremely clean and adequate, although our room temperature was uncomfortably warm most times, along with lobby areas and elevator. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We would highly recommend ceiling fans for ventilation throughout the resort and rooms. Not sure if the a/c unit in our room wasn't working, or whether temperatures were pre-set -- but it was extremely warm and uncomfortable -- probably something we should have inquired about from the onset -- but once we were unpacked and settled, we didn't want to start moving around to another room, since we were there for a short period of time. VERY IMPORTANT -- Take notice of the red card that is to be attached to your door handle -- it is a DO NOT DISTURB sign. We made the mistake of thinking that it was a sign to have our room made up, and that was not the case. First day disappointment -- although staff was very kind to refresh our room quickly and bring us clean towels after a beach day and before dinner. As for the beach and pool areas, they were maintained impeccably, beginning early in the morning when I took my beautiful sunrise walks. The entire staff was hard-working and kind, treating us as though we were family. The beach area was well groomed each morning, of all the grass that came in from the ocean overnight. There was an abundance of palapas and beach chairs -- both along the beach, as well as the surrounding pool areas. Warm, clean towels were readily available by pool area, and servers were continually passing by, offering refreshments, etc. to everyone. One thing we cannot emphasize enough -- it's the SERVICE of the staff. With the exception of the front desk staff, who seemed kind of stand-offish -- the SERVING STAFF throughout the resort and restaurant areas exceeded our expectations. We feel as though we were treated as a king and queen the entire time. Let us highlight a few of our experiences -- The Grill: We had lunch here on our first day. Liliana was the hostess who immediately made us feel welcomed, and escorted us to a lovely table outside -- with a view overlooking the beach and palapa areas. Pedro served us an incredible lunch! We shared flank steak, beef tacos, chicken wings and grilled chicken caesar. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, with beautiful presentations. We mentioned to Pedro that we were celebrating the lovely occasions noted above, and he recommended that we reserve The Grill for dinner -- that he would arrange something special for us. So, we made reservations for our last evening. We continued to enjoy lunches each day at the Grill, and the service remained outstanding. Ezekiel was another gentleman who served us so kindly. He seemed to rotate his service between the lovely breakfast buffet and the Grill area. The Grill area is a spot where you want to not rush -- as the food is truly freshly prepared. If you'd like quick service, you can enjoy the beach bar, ceviche area, and of course the buffet area, which is available for breakfast and dinner. So, about our special "last night" dinner on Thursday night -- We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time -- but were immediately welcomed by Liliana, and escorted to a private balcony area overlooking the pools. The table setting was lovely, and Pedro was immediately available to greet us. We felt like royalty. We started with salads of our choosing, and after a short wait -- out came Pedro with a simply gorgeous "Parillada" -- which was a huge tray of various grilled meats -- beef, chicken, pork, sausage -- along with sides of rice, beans, pico de gallo, and grilled veggies. Everything was so beautifully prepared, and we just soaked in this wonderful time of celebration. Gumercindo, the manager, came to check on us several times throughout the dinner, as did Pedro and Liliana -- without making us feel rushed or pressured. For that period of time, we felt as though we were "family" and owners of a slice of that beach area. An amazing dessert display was then brought to us as we relaxed from the incredible meal. It was an unforgettable evening, and we can't thank this staff group enough, for all their efforts! As far as the breakfast buffet, this was a wonderful and quickly, but freshly-prepared assortment of omelets, breads, pastries, fruits (amazing papaya!!!!), juices, cereals, vegetables, along with some delicious Mexican specialties (no bacon, lol!). Ayami was an amazing dinner experience as well! We enjoyed a wonderful and entertaining hibachi presentation, which was prefaced by delicious miso soup and samplings of sushi that was superb. The hibachi meal itself was delicious, and we enjoyed the company of other guests, as we were seated together surrounding the hibachi experience. Risotto! Another incredible dinner experience! We were seated at an especially prepared table, which had the word "LOVE" in stones and seashells, as part of the table-scape. We enjoyed a beautifully-prepared chicken parmesan dinner, along with capellini with olive oil and garlic -- one of the best we've had -- even state-side. Service continued to be outstanding and exceeded our expectations. If you go to Risotto, please don't miss the "salad bar," which includes little samplings of Italian specialties, cheeses and delicacies, which are part of the dinner. Beach area -- Carlos Caamal Dzul was one of the wonderful servers who provided continuous refreshments and yummy burgers and snacks throughout our times at the beach. Pool area -- Very fun, kind, cheerful and attentive staff throughout our stay -- with "pool Zumba" as one of the highlights I particularly enjoyed. Alvaro served us most of the time we were there, and no sooner did we return from swimming or an activity, and our beverages were once again refreshed. Que Dios Le Bendiga, y su familia, Alvaro!!! :) Coco Café -- This is an adorable café area situated in the lobby, and opens at 6 AM. A variety of coffee beverages is offered throughout the day -- and my favorite was the decaf caramel frappucino! Lovely pastries and snack sandwiches are available as well. So sorry we didn't get the specific names of the staff -- but each of these wonderful ladies were so kind and pleasant -- even at the 6 AM sunrise cuppa coffee time -- and we are so thankful for their service as well! MOST IMPORTANT: The staff works so diligently, and appreciates gratuities for their service -- especially in the heat of the day, as they wear their impeccably pressed and clean LONG-SLEEVE UNIFORMS. It dis-heartened us to see that there were people who did not tip the servers. We even brought this up to one of the servers, and his response was still -- "It is our pleasure to serve." ("All-inclusive" doesn't mean to overlook exceptional service!!!!! SO, PLEASE COME PREPARED with appropriate gratuities for these super-kind and hard-working men and women!!!) Thinking back -- for such a short stay, we enjoyed the resort and our vacation getaway to the max -- and we truly felt the love of the people, for which we say "muchas gracias desde nuestro Corazon, y QUE DIOS LES BENDIGA -- por todos los servicios que nos dieron a nosotros durante nuestro vacation!!!!" We hope we have the opportunity to visit this lovely resort sometime in the near future!

My spouse and I spent a week in the Altitude section of this resort - room 128. The room was quite nice but very noisy being just above the main pools and the extremely loud music that was played throughout the day. We ate at all of the restaurants and found the food to be quite good at all of them. We do not have food allergies but witnessed staff and chefs discussing menus and food items with guests that could be catered to suit vegan, gluten free and nut allergies. The grounds, buildings and pools are very well maintained and quiet a lot of focus and work is spent keeping them that way. Each pool and pool area started being cleaned around 6:30 each morning. Aside from the noise level and timeshare hassle there is nothing I can complain about.
