We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Aina Nalu for 5 people in December. The room itself was good and clean. My teenage boys slept on the pullout bed and said that it was not comfortable, but I don’t think any of them really are. There are 2 pools, but only 1 was open. On day 6 of our stay, a security guard appeared poolside and informed us that nobody could use the pool lounge chairs, everyone had to sit on the ground. (I was sitting on a chair, alone). This was the 4th time I had been poolside during our stay and the only time I had seen a security guard. One person in our party is 72 and there is no way she would have been able to sit on the ground. Seems like a pretty ridiculous rule, COVID or not. The chairs are all wooden. With the combination of the $300+ cleaning fee and 7 days of parking at 17.50/day, I would not stay here again. We could have stayed somewhere with a better view for the same amount of money. The property is easy walking distance to front street and several “fancy” eating places.

    Roosters Galore

We have stayed here two prior times and had a good experience. This past time the roosters were out of control! It kept my kids and I up all night. We had to run the ac units to block out the sound. As soon as ac unit clicked off, roosters woke us up. I asked security and the maintenance people to help with the issue and I was told there was nothing to be done. They have at least a dozen roosters on site. I had family stay there recently and they said roosters are still out of control. Do not stay at this location.

Nice place close to everything in Lahaina

They get 3 stars though because I keep getting emails to fill a "how did we do" survey. I filled the survey out but keep getting emails. I have also unsubscribed. If you want to stay at a decent place in Lahaina proper this is a decent place. Be aware though that parking is $17.50 per day - this was not in our booking information on Expedia though.

    Disappointing...once a 3.5 star...down to a 1 star

We’ve stayed several times but sadly this will be the last time. When we originally started staying....it was decent enough accommodations.however it’s gone downhill and this was our worst stay ever.. The air conditioner units were loud and noisy and the units desperately need updating. The bottoms of the kitchen cupboards were peeling away and the fridge looked brand new; however the incorrect handle was attached and made it difficult to open the fridge... coffee maker was broken and we waited so long for someone to bring a replacement..we had to go to the front desk ourselves for the replacement. The Monday to Friday front desk person was just miserable and lacked any customer service .... we were charged a cleaning fee and be forewarned...there is no daily cleaning of the rooms...and parking was $18 even though there were ample parking spaces and I’m pretty sure that each unit would be allotted a parking spot..huge money grab. The two good things...located central Lahaina and it had a stacked washer and dryer...other than that..folks..spend your monies elsewhere and find another place to stay.

Coconut Condos is allowing folks from some countries to rebook at a later date but not Canadians who have been ordered to stay home or go home. No support or customer service. They’re going to lose a lot of loyal return customers over this. Most others in the industry are accommodating in the interest of helping to support customers to follow medical and government advisories.
